Loving this thread. I see a lot of screen names I havent seen before and a aI was only gone a few weeks. Ironically many are missing too.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I agree they can def compete. At this point its a question of having enough guys to play the big in the spread offense. I really wish we picked up another body taller than 6 8 who can rebound/defend/finish at the rim.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

How many more could they get really. The team has had enough guys on the team this year they all just get hurt. If this team had a full roster i think they could win but with all the injuries in the front court winning more then 1 series is going to be a chore. I wondered why no 1 signed Kmart i think we no why now. No 1 thought he could stay healthy

Yeah Kmart getting hurt does suck. But we should at least try and get somebody to play the 1 while everybody is hurt. I mean there have to be guys out there meeting out requirements. I know it is not a trifle, but there is probably a 6 10 body out there in the NBDL or whatever that can rebound/defend/finish. Sure will be more useful then White.

The same key that I stated in the beginning of the season still holds true today. If the 3 headed PG monster plays well then the Knicks are world beaters.

We are now certified contenders and anything less then ECF game 7, is going to be an epic failure

You guys change your opinions from week to week to week. Every team has ups and downs and changing expectations at every up and every down is not really a good way to gauge a team. The Knicks goal should be to win the title, however, I will be somewhat satisfied if they win a round in the playoffs since they have not done so in recent history.

Wow....Am I the only one that believed in this team? This was before we even played 1 game. Just based on the additions and age of the vets. I'm just kicking myself for not betting on them before the season started. Even if you bet a few bucks, you would come up big because vegas odds gave a slim to no chance of winning.

I still hate this lineup....I still think our small ball lineup will come back to bite us. The only thing I like about our lineup is Melo's advantage against bigger guys on offense. Everything else is a disadvantage.

Lack Defensive Rebounds
Increased Fatigue and tired legs
Increased Foul Trouble
More Defensive mismatches (Pablo)
Nobody to protect the paint (Due to Chandler's consistent switching on PG's)

Lets hope Woody can prove me wrong. I just hope he's not afraid to change it up against bigger teams.

Our bigs are sparse. 4-1 is what we have won 12 straight with--this is how we roll

Small ball is the key for this team. Quicker hands and ball movement.

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!
