Nah, didn't see an issue before, don't see one after.

This is entertainment, these guys aren't warriors on a battlefield, they are actors reading a script.

if you don't see an issue with Melo in this situation, then you too are of the same mindset as Melo,

It's entertainment but the entertaining is derived from battle, literally. sports is war where the contestants go home with their lives, the same qualities that make a good soldier make for a good pro baller.

He publicly says that and its spun into becoming more drama than there already is
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Alright, maybe not in that exact way, what if he said "I appreciate what Dolan is trying to do. At the same time, I have learned a lot from the bus incident and I am today better equipped to handle on-court abuse, altercations, whatever,"

Much better than "yea, that's so good that he's tapping the woods, he's looking out for me" because this deflects responsibility from Melo and puts it on someone else to carry the potato sack

Those days have been gone, these dudes are aren't warriors.

And now that Melo has spoken, there is no more to be said, if he contended he can handle it himself, he'd be crucified for that since he's already went against his coaches wishes that night.

I honestly think fans want drama more than the media do, this is such a non story it's laughable.

So now Melo's a wuss for being appreciative of what his boss is doing....foh.

It's not a non story if this is the guy that is the cornerstone of your franchise, it has everything to do with how Knicks will perform in the playoffs

I dont play in the NBA so it doesn't pertain to me, but if you think the NBA is still a physical game, you're blind.

The Bulls are called physical and all they do is rebound the ball....that aint physical that's just effort.

My have standards changed.

Nothing to connect, just weak fan mentality using everything under the sun because the team itself aint good enough.

If the Knicks win the championship this year, it won't be because these ideas were wrong, it will be because Melo changed his views and improved his approach,

But if Melo takes this frame into the playoffs, I guarantee abysmal failure

I'm not saying that Melo can't change his approach, nor am I saying that I think he won't.

I hope for the best always, this doesn't mean I have to put the blindfold on when the writing is on the wall

This tells me Melo is getting Allan Houstoned by Dolan after next year..... what a DISASTROPHE

Melo head coach, general manager and president, 2025

Start at getting extended $100 for 4yrs or a full 5yrs Max Contract if he Opts out with him being approx 30/31 yrs of age in either scenario. Dolan's got his back ya heard

Nah, you just have a ready made excuse for failure.

If the Knicks win it all alot of fans should apologize, and honestly some wont even be happy then because their OPINIONS mean more than the team they claim they support.

Melo doesnt have an approach to change, he spoke, that's all there is to it, i seriously doubt he cares about that stuff, that's for the fans to eat up, which is apparent by most of these posts.

It's a total non issue, irrelevant to the Knicks play on the court.
