but we did own Lin's rights

Yes. and that is sad!

We "needed" bibby in the playoffs too.

any idiot who thinks that Felton is a good pg obviously knows very little about basketball

ahem!

Any idiot who thinks Felton isn't key to whats happening here obviously knows very little about hoops...

I do think we are winning despite his play, although I wont say he hasn't helped the team win any games, because he has.

Hell Tyson at one point was feasting off felton misses, might as well been passes.

That is funny!

It's true and sad at the same time.

extremely sad for the most part.

We finally are in a position to win and we bring this idiot PG as our leader?

Really was not a better option. I do think we can win despite his poor play.

You think we can win when Kidd's back flares up again and Felton gets full reign at PG? Or do you think we will see the Charlotte, Denver & Portland Felton who shoots his team out of games? IMO right now Kidd has masked Felton's lack of efficiency and abilities as a PG

Felton will be here for the next 4yrs. Does Kidd play next year?

I think quite a few players have masked each other, they are getting the job done when looking at stats they shouldn't be.

I wanted DWil over Melo who seemed like the better player at that point - You only know this because I have no problem stating this (ahem)

JR is a bonehead who is now shooting well and will soon be bricking again and then shooting well again (and always taking dumb shots) - have fun with his 3-1x in the playoffs

Very sad attempt by you here. Predictable too.

Your problem is, like many others, is not seeing what a person contributes other than scoring...Yes most NBA players go thru bouts of tossing up bricks..The one's that don't are often called our Superstars...The guy has been great for us this year, playing a much more controlled game...Where are u getting this "dumb play" commentary from???..His previous years??..

And the team and players made it known that didn't matter all that much.

Dumb play = every year

bouts of bricks? = every year

shooting numbers this year? = worse than every year (even portland)

Sorry, was referring to the other boob, JR...Well you pretend like I don't admit that Felton does make "some" poor shot selections, which is not the case...I do readily admit that...But I content he has to remain aggressive in this offense...Dude is the PG behind a 20-8 record, he must be doing some things right...

The dude is the PG despite of 21-9. He sucks and always will. He needs to not be aggressive and even pass up open shots ala Rondo (AS I HAVE SAID FROM THE BEGINING)

Teams are getting smart enough to force him/trick him into shooting. And, its is working perfectly.

You said from the beginning of the year that he has to keep shooting - he must have been listening - perhaps you both share the same brain.

24 is 24....did you figure out the Knicks offering a contract had zero to do with what other teams could?

Besides man don't be upset that the team can win even with terrible play from Felton.

All that matters is the win.

Yup - Woody was right. Keep shooting Ray!

Woody wanted Ray to shoot when Carmelo was out (perhaps) and he is trying to help him not lose complete confidence since teams figured out that you can beat the knicks by forcing Felton to shoot.

I am sure you picked up on this though being that you are pretty savvy

So where is this quote that says Woodson told Felton to keep shooting?

I know he wanted Pablo to shoot that's because he would rather go a whole game and not shoot at all even open.

We need a PG
