He got them back to .500 yes, but he did not play for most of March and April and definitely didn't attempt suiting up for the playoffs.

Team was 7-15 when LInsanity took over then LINDAWG went 8-1, now you're 15-15, that's about half of the shortened season, you're at the halfway mark at 500 instead of maybe 10-21?

Correct, that's the halfway point of the season. "Taking" them to the playoffs is a bit of an exaggeration. Putting them back in the hunt or back to respectability is more like it.

Melo "took" them to the playoffs in the month of April.

Please, let's not talk about record...

Melo's 17-4 this season while Woodson and the Knicks are 19-6 overall.

Jeremy Lin on the other hand? Struggling to say afloat a .500 at only 13-12 overall. A very mediocre record. Thank god for James Harden.

Doesn't seem like Woodson nor Melo miss Lin... Now does it?

Not to mention that Felton's pretty much kicking Lin's ass up and down the court (production wise).

Ray: 19-6 overall. 15.9 points, 6.6 assists, 2.9 boards, 1.2 steals, 2.3 turnovers, .389 FG%; 16.1 Player Efficiency Rating.

Lin: 13-12 overall. 11.6 points, 6.0 assists, 3.9 boards, 1.8 steals, 2.7 turnovers, .419 FG%; 14.1 Player Efficiency Rating.

Last but not least, with a veteran PG in Felton running our offense at the point (as our main ball handler)? We're on pace to set an All-Time NBA record for fewest turnovers committed per game.

JEREMY LIN WHO?!??!?

Knicks are 19-6 despite Felton's struggles. We'll see if Felton picks up his play or continues to be bench during 4th quarters

Despite his struggles? You make it seem like he struggled in every one of the 25 games they played thus far. He's struggled over the last 4-5 games but that's it. Before that, an inconsistent game here and there but Felt is a major reason why we are playing so well.

They both played a factor. Lin didn't take them to the playoffs but Melo isnt in the position to do so without Lin's run.

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Knicks were 8-7 from linsanity to MDA fired, I don't understand how people make it sound like we went straight to April after 8-1.

Melo led Denver to the postseason each and every year. During I believe 8 consecutive seasons at that. We ended up making the playoffs by a 5 full games last season. Please, lets stop acting like the Knicks went on a never before seen tear under Jeremy Lin and/or Lin is "the reason" why we landed a trip to the postseason last year. How many ball games did he perform at an elite level of play? It wasn't all 25-26 games... Turnovers come to mind. Lack of confidence comes to mind. An unexperienced talent comes to mind. Even during our Linsanity run, he didn't "win" all those games. I wonder what his win factor was last season? Everyone points to win share's or numbers against current Knicks... What about Lin? Did he win us "all of those games" or, did he just perform strongly during a couple? The Knicks only went 15-10 with Jeremy Lin as a starting PG. 15-10? Nothing more than average at best. We make the playoffs with or without Lin last season.

All some like to remember is that nice little 7 game winning streak (we win a few of those games without Lin as well). Some of these strong Lin supporters seem to forgot about the 6 game losing streak with Lin as our starting PG. I repeat; 6 game losing streak. Melo would be murdered like no tomorrow. Lin's run here was and still is so overrated.

What about the 12-5 run the Knicks went on as soon as Jeremy Lin ended the season due to a so called "injury" at 75%-85%? As soon as Lin left the team due to injury, that's when we started to play our best basketball as a team. 12-5 ending the season without Lin.

He put together 2 good games consecutively in games 24 and 25. Prior to that he has struggled mightily with several big games that make his scoring average look better.
