How old are you? Please state your age. If you wish to mention your age to your name thats cool.

No agenda, just curious. Might be fun to have a snapshot census of sorts.

Can we sticky this just for a few days so the population sees it and hopefully votes?

Here is a fun fact , enlargement of prostate is something that middle aged man in America can pretty much can expect , only 100 years ago it was not the epidemic it is today. I know someone who was diagnosed with prostate Cancer and was told he needs an operation or else. . . This guy started doing research online, changed his diet to whole grains, no white bread, less meat, less alcohol, simple foods(his diet was very strict) and a couple of months later his doctor told him that it must have been a wrong diagnosis, because there is nothing left of the cancer. This is after the fact that surgery was presented as the only real option.

Good story ram, and thanks for the good wishes.

I'm just hoping I hang on long enough to get those robot replacement parts and a jet car.

Thanks! Im gluten free now after reading the book "Wheat Belly" written by a cardiologist and outlines some tough facts. I bought in and don't experience the "Wheat fog" anymore and my digestive track feels real good. It was not problematic but just doing better without.

Just have to watch the Carbs because wheat free substitutes are high in them.

Also been standing at my desk working a few hours a day. Good for the back and keeping the core strong.

Never had surgery before and it was a big one. Fist few weeks were tough but I was back to work (part time) after 3 weeks, once I was able to walk a mile without rest. Can't push the recovery but you can't chill too much either. Can't say enough about having a great family, wife, dr's and friends for a support system. My wife is an amazing person and she likes the knicks.

40 is the new 30....

Just got finished playing some ball yesterday, and killing these 20 - 30 yr olds.

Not sure how long I can do that, but it feels good right now. Gotta enjoy the moment!

I recommemd you dont' take health advice on this forum.

With the recent posting going on around here, they'll tell you apples and oranges are cancerous to your health.

there is truth in that but, I don't think Nalod is that type of guy and, I was just curious. Not like I'm going to stop eating Wheaties or Raisin Bran

The wheat thing is not something I want to preach or argue. Do your own research and learn for yourself. Maybe Playa2 got a theory on it?

Holy shit, but this makes for a depressing read.

When do we start the "how many pills a day do you take?" poll?

Good tip on the wheat fog stuff though. First I gave up Wonder Bread white. Now I have to give up Whole Wheat.
Have to appreciate uncle Nalod, not shoving his life choices (even though successful) down one's throat.

Will eagerly wait for the playa2 vids on the governmental Martian diet conspiracy.
