I love that we had 2 PG's playing at the same time almost all game. Great to have vet PGs/Leaders.

Don't you just love beating the Celtics.

What a fun game to watch. I'm loving what Kidd and Prigioni bring to this team.
Can't wait until everyone is healthy so we can see what our actual 1st, 2nd and 3rd units look like together. If we look this decent with all the injuries(STAT, Camby, JR and Shump)...once we are healthy we are going to be SO scary.
And I'm not even including how good an in-shape Rasheed Wallace would be for us as far as depth is concerned.

Our second unit with Jeff Green playing was beat by something like 10pts. The end the Celtics didnt play Green with the 2nd Unit.

I know its preseason but its great when we can beta the celtics since boston usually breask our hearts every time we play the. We have great point guard depth. felton looks like a man on a mission, kidd will be the best backup in the league, and prigoni plays like he is 25 years old. Copeland was very impressive. Also we are missing two of our best perimeter defenders(Shump and Brewer), Amare and Camby. If we are fully healthy we will be lethal. This is gonna be the best year since 2000

Love what the vet point guards bring. Kidd, Prigs and Felton were huge.

It is just pre-season. I would not put much stock in wins and/or losses or beating the Celts or whatever. I am just glad that the team has a full camp and full pre-season and a solid roster all around this year and have been glad about this for the last few months.

Im surprised NUPE usually are the most excited about this team

I think the vet presence at the point is huge. Both melo and Tyson talked about it. And cope credited prigs and Kidd inhis post game interview

I have been happy with the team & off-season for many weeks now - however - a pre-season win is nothing meaningful to me. A pre-season loss won't mean much to me either. For what it's worth, I and a few others said long ago that the Knicks would be solid at pg which is what most people seem to be posting about...

I have been happy with the team & off-season for many weeks now - however - a pre-season win is nothing meaningful to me. A pre-season loss won't mean much to me either. I know its preseason but it was still played competitvely by both teams since most nba experts thinks boston is the second best team in the east

If there is a rewind you should check it out. The last time I remember a fringe player having a game like that it was Ewing jr. Cope's game was better .

Copeland put up his stats against the Celts 3rd unit and/or players that won't make the team or get sent to D-League. Most of his damage came against poorly defended pick and rolls. He also did not look like a strong finisher around the rim in general. I don't see the big deal. The only player that really surprised me was Novak shooting well off the dribble. I think Prigs actually played sloppily at times.

Anyhow, it is just pre-season. We will have plenty of time to realistically evaluate the team in the coming months.

I actually found most of the 4th and the entire OT to be somewhat un-watchable.

I went to the game and I was 5 rows off the court just left to the Knicks bench. I did not see Amare there JR Smith never got in. I think this is the third time I've seen KG and with a pretty close view he's huge in person--he's got to be all of 7-1--Chandler is a big dude too--but for some reason KG looked like the biggest guy there by pretty far. I was NOT impressed with our PG play. There was decent game management at times--but Felton was taking bad shots--Kidd and Pablo(who was scrappy) did not make shots in fact many shots Pablo took were way off. Chandler and Melo looked good--no doubt we have to really good players there. After that--I was underwhelmed(granted many guys did not play. I asked a ? about SG the other day and let me say from what I saw White Thompson and Shurma are not answers maybe even for back up positions. The guy who played the best in the 2nd half--he consistently rolled and executed for the pick an droll--Copeland--I have to wonder if can do that against length--because the tallest guy who was out there for the Cs was Sullinger when Copeland was scoring(Sullinger is pretty good by the way) The C's look like a team that has improved. Courtney Lee looked good Jeff Green looked good(had an awesome one handed jam. Jason Terry and Sullinger are quality additions. Jr Smith was the most popular Knick in the stands where I was sitting for some reason and he kept looking back as he was not really attentive to the game as he was not playing. He sat mostly with Felton and KT in the 2nd half when those guys were out. Our team has questions at 4 and 2 IF Amare cant go more than 35 minutes and while we should be fine at PG--I dont see us having a good % FGA from that position. Too many 3's by us and Novak was off and took many of his shots not really square or under duress. That was that--pretty good game considering I had to watch scrubs for the last 18 minutes--but did get to see Pablo Novak and Kidd play a lot.
