I was looking forward to this game for weeks, but after the past week I'm kind of glad- don't think we're ready for a Nets/Heat back to back. Plus it's nice to have a bit of build up and suspense leading up to playing the Nets for the first time.

Wonder if the Heat game goes ahead.

This is a blessing. Hopefully the nets and heat game is played 2months from now. Would have sucked to open 0-2 with all the expectations

It's a good thing the postponed it. For the $$$ that the tickets were going for and the lack of mass transportation...the last thing you want is to cripple the area with traffic at a time like this or not be able to make it at all.
We'll see what happens w/ Friday's game...

big game and big test for the Knicks. Nets are playing good ball. Will be interesting to see what Woody does on D. We dont have a guard for JJ. I would stick Brewer on him for size and switch Kidd to Wallace who sucks. This is a game where not having a regular PF hurts. Should be interesting

BK needs to win this game a lot more than we do. They're the ones that need to prove something - not us.

I still think we take this one but I won't be all that shocked if we don't.

Dont forget Lopez will be tough for Chandler to guard. This game might expose our weakness up front. If Melo and JR can hit shots, we have a good chance. I am optimistic, cautiously optimistic.

Lopez is a tough guard for anyone. We've won games where he gets his points, as long as he doesn't get to do anything else. My concern is Lopez will be much tougher to guard if Tyson has to try and box both he and Hump out.

Reading about Gerald Wallace being written up for his D. Never followed him much; I don't remember him ever being known for "bite you to death" defense prior to the N*yets?

Yeah, I know. Sort of like Melo.

I'm worried about Melo boxing out Humphries or if Melo is guarding Wallace then who's on Humphries? Brewer? I'm pretty sure Woodson is going to stick with the same starting 5 that got us to 9-3. I'm worried its going to be Memphis all over again. I can deal with a loss to Memphis but not the Nyets.

yes Nets are up near the league leaders in rebounding with guys like hump, evans, blatche and wallace. I'm legitimately concerned about this game
