A. The moment that you fell in love.

You endure the down times and celebrate the bright moments. Train wreck? Nah. If you think of the Knicks as a train wreck, or have a weak heart, they are obviously NOT for you.

New Yorkers are tough. Resilient. We do not cower when times are difficult. We get stronger.

arkrud - please take your talents to Brooklyn. The sooner the better. I assure you, you will not be missed.

But not strong enough to endure a rebuild or show any patience.

nets are in the same population so Im not saying Brooklyn is any different.

Management has never committed to a true rebuild so i don't know how the fan base would react. The first two years of Walsh/dantoni were very hard for me as a fan. True net fans have been through a lot more. My guess is longtime net fans are not entirely thrilled with the nets new found popularity.

It was hard but the hope was Lebron.

We have talked about it enough I think.

Yep. I think the nets have been talked about enough on this knick forum. There are dome great net sites and forums if they are your team. Netsdaily is a great site. Njo forums used to have a great net forum. They are great places to talk nets. This is a knick forum.

Another proud and true New York Knickerbockers fan representing. Will Bleed Orange and Blue Forever! We were there through 10 years of losing and missing playoffs but we still cheered them on and stuck with them through thick and thin. God Bless the New York Knicks Fans. We showed up at the Garden during the losing era and the Garden was always at full capacity at 19,988 every single night. If that's not real love. Then what is it? If our players stay healthy everybody watch out! We're going to make a lot of noise deep and I mean deeeeeeep in the playoffs.
I love it!

Nop. I do not like Nets. Actually I have no feelings about them. Probably this is worth than hate.
If Knicks will stop me watching them this will be the end of watching the NBA for me alltogether.
So far they did a good job putting me close to have no filling about Knicks, and NBA ball.
But I needd a little bit more of push to snap complitely.

You said you don't like the Nets? Remember this quote Arkrud?

a lot of them told me that they are switching to Nets.
And the reason being putting aside old stories of Dolan and last decade of embarrassments the last events of Walsh, MDA, and Lin departures.
Talk about conspiracy... but it is a perfect turn of events for Nets to establish solid NYC fan base.
They already get 10K of season tickets and press is good.
So who will be the NYC Clippers?[/

I like what arkrud has to say as much as obm or anyone else. Pure Knicks love doesnt = blind Knicks love. Nets have a lot of relevence as we have openly competed for players and FAs and are in a similar building pattern... meaning gut the roster and build around a couple of hopefully would be stars. What happens with Nets very relevent for Knicks. Its not like Mets/Yanks.

Also we got Melo, they got Deron, both teams were putting big packages together. Very interesting to see which team ends up better. IF your a Knick fan how can you not watch whats happening w/ Nets? Im not saying join the fan base, but the Nets are the most relevent non-Knick team to discuss here. Easily

Thanks for the support. We need more supporters like you.

obm, how do we go about gaining more supporters? what can we do to really weed out the people we don't want?

You don't need my help to figure that out but since you insist, your second question has the answer to your first question.
... I like the fact that Knicks fans are posting their comments here a lot now and insisting that they don't care about the Nets. Maybe some people will finally get the message that we simply don't care what they do.

I don't get this. Why are people so obsessed with adding all these Nets threads on the NY Knicks forum? Shouldn't all Non-Knicks threads(including the Nets because they are not the Knicks)be moved to the NBA forum listed under our NY Knicks forum? Since the Nets are a separate NBA team I think their threads should definitely be moved and added to the NBA forum. What do you all think? Is this a good idea?

Why are you being so defensive when it comes to the NYETS? I'm simply suggesting that since the NYETS are not the Knicks it would make perfect sense to move all their threads, except for game thread(s) titled Knicks vs. Nets on Nov.1, from our Knicks forum to the NBA forum which is where they belong.

Why are you replying again to the same message? Did you spend the entire past few days thinking about it and then decide you could formulate a better response? Look at the forum closely and decide if it's one you want to stay at. You'll see that a high percentage of the threads here are not directly on the Knicks, including the first three stickied ones.

Including all 6 of the Nets threads on the first two pages.

Makes me almost miss all those old Nuggicks threads.

32 years of suffering?I guess u forgot(or too young)to remember the 90's when the Knicks were just a couple of phantom MJ foul calls away from possibly winning it all!
