Haha, no, that's cool.

s3231 and SlimChin - RonRon - (and anyone else leaving over this) the best of luck to you in your future endeavors. This is a sad day for all of us, but I guess some of us are taking the longer view and/or maybe not taking it all so seriously. Best of luck to Lin in Houston as well.

Ditto. All the guys leaving, much love and respect.

I am considering finding a second team to follow, with more competent management. Following the Knicks solely seems to be a waste.

At least reading and responding to your shit posts like this one is a waste, they don't even have to seem like it.

Will add that I hope to see you all on this forum 10-30 years from now (if I remember my password ha) when Jimmy Dolan is no longer owner of the Knicks. So in a way, I am taking the long view here.

Not going to lie, it could be nice being a general NBA fan and not living and dying with one team anymore....

DJ had the right idea a while back by switching to the Raptors (although I couldn't do that). I definitely don't plan on going to Brooklyn, will say that much.

Cheers everyone

Yes, it's been great knowing you and hope you and your front running douchebag clique all die choking on scum under a fiery bus wreck.

Happy Nyetsing!

Wow. You guys are leaving? Just an FYI,both Hahn and Stephen a. Wrote articles tonight where they said Lin and his reps went to the rockets and got the initial contract changed. Good luck in your new endeavors. On a side note, part of my job is to train people in therapeutic crisis intervention. A big part of the training is self awarenes. One of the things taught is that ' when you are at your angriest you are at your stupidest'.
Most of you guys have been a part of this community for a long time. This is a fun place to hang out and talk bball. I think it might be wise to get a couple of good nights sleep, watch copeland, hopefully white, and that center, art, that led the NCAA in rebounding play ball. I think you might find that the Knicks are still a worthwhile team to be passionate about.

Anyone who doesn't understand that after all for the times that it's been stated on this board in the past 24-48 hours, is just stuck on stupid, and too emotionally affected to process logic.

Don't even keep arguing with those cats, man. They're hurt, mad, and want to bicker with you in order to validate theri hurt feelings.

Whoever said they want to go, just leave. Staying here just to bait and senselessly argue with Knicks fans who aren't emotionally bruised DOES make you a troll, and trolls should be banned.

For the True Fans who need a break, just take a breather and come back when you've cleared your heads a bit.

I love this idea that Jeremy nefariously reconstructed his contract when A) the Knicks never offered him one and B) Houston made the offer. Houston desperately wanted Lin because they'd lost both their PGs. You tell your guy to test the market to get an offer... you are asking for trouble.

And, as a "True Fan", I'm pissed. This is where I come to talk about it. If you don't want to hear any negative or dissenting opinions I don't know what to tell you.

The Knicks just gave away their best, most popular young player for nothing in return and based on their own owner's petty crap. I don't know how any "True Fan" cannot be f@cking pissed off and miserable today. This is one of the darkest days of the Dolan Follies.

There have been reports that Lin or his reps went back to the rockets to reconstruct the deal to make it hard to match. Not sure if I believe the sources. I did here jvg in an interview today and he 'sprculated' that one of the reasons Lin wasn't resigned was because he had his contract changed.

Thanks for mentioning that, Crushalot.

This is why this topic is getting so tired so quickly...

Yo crzymdups, since when did Jeremy frikkin' Lin become the Knicks "BEST" player? Yes, for a few months he was the most popular due to the Linsanity hype, but for so many people to automatically get caught up in said hype to the extent to where they think this kid, who hadn't even played a full season of games in this league, is the second coming of Jesus Christ or something. WHere do these people get these ideas from? LMAO @ this whole mess. Some folks just neeed to constantly argue about it in order to validate their heartbreak over this dude who no one knew about six months ago.

This is hilarious. When taking a step back and not taking it all so seriously, it really is all too damn funny.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I have deleted the death wish post and apologize for my outburst.

While it is regrettable, I honestly was trying to express how much disdain I have for front-running goobers who leave the team.

I will refrain from expressing disgust in such extreme ways, as i can see without smileys that it can be taken literally.

To any and all who have "left", please be safe, chew your food well, especially around fiery buses.

The rest of you bandwagon herpes viruses can go to hell, piss off, or whatever else has been expressed here short of death.

You deleted it but I was still informed about it and you are a scumbag for ever even saying something like that on a sports forum....especially considering you said it to a fan that has spent thousands of $s supporting your favorite team (in jerseys, season tickets, etc.). Hell, I had season tickets during the Isiah era (and still have them for this season) so I don't know where you came up with the notion that I'm a front-runner...shouldn't be a surprise though considering you haven't shown any rational thought in any of your other posts either.
