Orlando is not taking Gerald Wallace at 4 years 40 million, and who say Humphries wants to sign and trade when he can just go somewhere else as a free agent

how do the lakers do it? it makes me sick.

http://www.iamagm.com/news/2012/07/05/lakers.no.longer.demanding.contract.assurances.dwight.howard.trade.talks.reportedly?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

The Orlando Magic are "increasingly focused" on trading Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers for Andrew Bynum. Helping the Laker cause is the fact that the team is no longer demanding that Howard agree to a contract extension before a trade is consummated. That is according to two separate reports from today. Have no fear, the Brooklyn Nets have not given up hope either and have a standing offer on the table.

"I think with Nash in the house now, they wouldn’t need an assurance up front," one league executive tied closely to the Howard trade talks told Yahoo! Sports. "They know that Dwight can be impressionable and craves Hollywood. I think they would take that chance."

Sources close to the Lakers say they are not bothered by Howard’s reluctance to commit long-term to the team. They understand that Howard stands to make significantly more money as a free agent after this season, signing a five-year deal vs. adding on just three years to his current contract. LA is confident that once in Los Angeles, and in possession of his Bird Rights, Howard would ultimately re-sign with the team.

I saw this coming a mile away.
Even Magic got into the recruiting act today.
If D12 goes out West, at least we won't have to deal with him as a Net.
