![]() Anyone know what are the max numbers and options Lin will be able to earn? Also early bird rights vs max bird rights, we would be entitled to after another year?
Novak, he can range anywhere from about 2m-5m max, in which I don't think he would be worth 5m due to his lack of skills and ability to improve at his age. Probably 2-3m is a reasonable number, but if we want to retain our full MLE, and LLE, we will have to make all the numbers work. 74m -5m(MLE) -2m(LLE) = our total salary after resigning whoever we decide to retain with the roster spots and cap hold against us at 12 roster spots. With Fields, our 2nd round pick this year, Jorts, Jordan, and JR Smith... Also does Balkman's salary get spread out to more years because of the buyout with the new CBA? |

The most he is worth is his player option Read carefully, the discussion was about JR and the MLE not Nash..And of course I would give Nash the MLE but he won't take it..He will get 10 mil from PHX for two years...Ray Felton is our best option at PG.. |

The arbitrator made a solid ruling and based it off previous CBA, so it's not just him basing it off a feeling. NBA tried to get slick using vague language and they got caught. I really hope we can get Nash cuz I think we need a vet who can show this team the way to win. Nash doesn't even need a coach, he's a coach already. Just give him the ball and get out of the way. Nash would also be a great mentor for Lin. I don't know if our MLE will be enough, but i'm hopeful. |

JR Smith can still jump out the building but I think the Knicks already have too many low basketball IQ players in Melo and Amare... Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please
