I think Anderson saw his game on tape and got so sick of it he had to puke.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

This is a huge win because it is a road win. Hopefully they can keep winning on the road to improve on their 11-20 road record. We won't have home court advantage in the playoffs so winning on the road will be key.

so, how many threads titled "The KVH trade RULZ" are we going to have to contend with tomorrow?

officially speaking, is it the KVH trade, the TT trade, or the NZAR trade?

TT and Keith are a wash except Keith as of now is a better rebounder, BUT Nazr more than makes up for it and he'll be huge for us at center. You all know I love Deke, but only for 24min a game against a big slow footed center who doesn't shoot from the outside since Deke never goes out to guard guys on the perimeter. It's always good to have deke for teams like LA, Detroit, San Antonio, but right now Nazr is the man! I can guarantee you that Doleac will never have a game as good as Nazr just had. Doleac is a 3rd string at best, Nazr is a backup at worst

Big win, no doubt. But let's not get too carried away. Toronto looked weak in the 2nd half, and downright awful at the end, and it wasn't just because the Knicks were playing well. Actually, think Knicks' staying in the game in the first half despite Toronto's ridiculous shooting, especially Marshall's, was the most impressive part of the night. Cause Raptors were just lousy in the 2nd half. Half man/half amazing was also half asleep. Knicks made their run to take over during a long 4th Q stretch. Probably 6 minutes or so. Carter didn't do anything during the stretch. Barely even got a shot off.

Still. Great to see Steph back, and Nazr's now had two excellent games since being given the starting job. A road win against a competitor for playoff position is big. Go Knicks. Toronto's fading. It's Miami, Cleveland and maybe Boston that we have to hold off. Think we can do it.

I don't buy into that "also the losingest coach in history" crap. The bottomline is Lenny is over .500 as a coach. Thats enough for me.

It's not like he was ever fortunate enough to coach the teams that Riley or Phil Jackson coached. He is a very good coach, who can win with teams that have talent.

As much as I think Lenny failed to crack the whip in Toronto, for this idiot (really? a sportswriter?) to say that Toronto is still bad now because of Lenny is a stretch. Lenny wasn't the GM, and he's not the reason Carter is a (meow!) I mean, Toronto can't score. They've had this coach all season. It's Lenny's fault? Sounds like this dude needs to get over it.

Anyway, missed the game tonight, had no choice. Good for Nazr. He's the supposed prize in this last trade, glad to see him try to live up to it.

Great game. I was watching game on satellite and came thru Toronto feed. They kept talking about NY's deep bench, superstar pt. guard who takes over game, Isiahs vision about Nazr, our frontline killing them on the boards, marbury and houston great together. Was great hearing another team actually jealous of us.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Yea I saw it on satellite also, those announcers were prasing the knicks, it was good to hear that. I was impressed with the play of Nazr and sweetney also, nazr was a beast, also TT was drawing Double teams all night and had some nice buckets in the post... Marbs and Houston were huge late, good win overall.. As I said before, I loved this trade...

Started out slow but in 4th he was posting down low( 2 man game with marbury) and hitting the shot. Still rusty had 2 shots of his blocked, but started to look better near end.

Interesting---

Doleac's career high in rebounding is 13--- set 4 years ago.

I've gotta say, Mohammed certainly seems to have a high upside as far as a rebounder goes. I guess he got used to sitting on the bench behind Ratliff and SAR.

The Knicks are still giving up a lot of points, but it looks like they've got their offense rolling again, scoring when they need to.
