we're 1-1 vs the Hawks with 1 left to play in Atlanta

2-1 vs Indy. Indy is tough to beat in their building and they play great team D

give me the hawks

Only 3.5 behind Boston but only 5 games left to play. Stinks we were 18-24 a few weeks ago before Woodson finally took over

have you seen the knicks play Indy this year? they've dismantled them. one game the knicks got too comfortable with their 17pt lead and indy came back. but otherwise?

Also, orlando's schedule to end the season and their recent play make it more likely we catch them, i think. Boston has been hot. of course i'd be thrilled to catch either one of them:

Orlando schedule
Sun, Apr 15 @Cleveland
Mon, Apr 16 Philadelphia
Wed, Apr 18 @Boston
Sat, Apr 21 @Utah
Sun, Apr 22 @Denver
Wed, Apr 25 Charlotte
Thu, Apr 26 @Memphis

Boston schedule
Sat, Apr 14 @New Jersey
Sun, Apr 15 @Charlotte
Tue, Apr 17 @NY Knicks
Wed, Apr 18 Orlando
Fri, Apr 20 @Atlanta
Tue, Apr 24 Miami
Thu, Apr 26 Milwaukee

Knicks schedule
Sun, Apr 15 Miami
Tue, Apr 17 Boston
Wed, Apr 18 @New Jersey
Fri, Apr 20 @Cleveland
Sun, Apr 22 @Atlanta
Wed, Apr 25 Los Angeles Clips
Thu, Apr 26 @Charlotte

Knicks remaining schedule is no walk in the park, either.

At least we play the toughest teams on that schedule at home...

Who wins the tie-breaker if they go 1-4 and the Knicks are 4-1 the rest of the way?

We won the season series against Orlando 2-1, so if we were to somehow end up tied with them we own the tie-breaker

we're 4 back of orlando. There's no way we catch them with only 5 games left in the season

Worth noting that Atlanta is tied with Orlando.

Remaining games:
Detroit
Boston
New York
LA Clippers
Dallas

4 games up with 5 games left, obviously unlikely, but aside from the Detroit game, they don't have a terribly easy schedule either. That head to head (which would give us the season series) could come into play.

wish we could play orlando or atlanta

but you know what? beating the heat or bulls would give us the momentum we need to pull off a 1999 championship run

Hawks and Magic are the real teams to watch. Bucks aren't catching us and Philly isn't going to make up two games on us in the last four either.

Hopefully the Magics and Hawks tough finishes cause them to slide to us.
