Obviously there is a little concern about Smith's personality but overall, glad to get him as we really need the 3 point shooting from the guard position.

He gives us some nice depth and hopefully Davis can come back as well to upgrade what is quickly becoming a capable bench.

That is some old school right there!

Neal Walk!

Trivia: Name the 2nd pick behind Lou Alcinder in 1969? Neal Walk! Name the team that lost the coin toss to get him? PHX!

Saw Willis Reed completely lay him out with an elbow to his face. Willis last years he was a big dude cranky with knee pain! Willis did not play that!

Inside of 10 years of retiring he had a tumor removed from his spine leaving him in a wheel chair.

Has worked for PHX in community affairs and numerous awards in his life.

Dude might have been the first "Bear Jew" as taken from Inglorious Basterds!

Not like we are signing him to a max contract or anything. He causes trouble, then you cut him...simplicity itself.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

JR Smith is a knockdown shooter something we really lack. Currently we're 25th in the league in three point shooting. JR Smith would be an amazing option as a 6th man off the bench.

I think he should start as he and Melo open up the paint for Lin, Amare and Chandler. Baron Davis can run the 2nd team and make everyone better on the 2nd unit with Shump, Fields, Jeffries, Novak, Harrleson when we are full throttle.

That's a little miss leading Walker never got the minutes he is getting this year. He had Novak mins. Novak is a good three point shooter but not over 50%

I was for JR and still am. One game does not judge a signing but it's clear he helped much much more than he hurt. And luckily with Lin running things, it seems the chemistry starts with him. JR was good about passing the ball last night and not forcing shots for the most part. Having someone who can create from his position and play great defense really is helpful, especially with Fields and Shump being inconsistent at this point in their careers.

Something I'm starting to feel is that when you have a great PG the team chemistry is a bit of a by product of them. It's almost analogous to playing in The Garden, where the fire (or booing) infects the team likewise. Well, Lin has infected this team.

You can just see a huge change when he comes in. His scoring threat makes Lin all the more better and now Melo will be back. And maybe Amare will start playing well again... Oh, and Jorts is coming back soon. We looking good.

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. Albert Einstein

Yes, I see JR Smith and Spree being almost the same person.

Please stop.

Can't stop. Having too much fun watching a prodigal son play better defense than predicted. At one point, JR Smith covered Dirk.

The Spree comparison?

Like I was tryin' to tell you jrodmc... if JR makes his first shot in The Garden, all is forgiven.

Hold up, what uni number did Spree wear?

The crow, particularly after one game of listening to JR feed Lin for threes, is really tasty.

I only get 1050ESPN radio, so I can't tell what number they gave JR. Stupid Spiro Agnew and John "Is it pronounced 'Line'? Androidgrease don't get in to uniform numbers.

They gave JR Spree's number? Wasn't it retired already?

A. Some guy named Gallinari took it to Denver with him. If JR is determined to elevate his magnificent game, and play inspired defense every night, he could be the last to wear it.

Galliwho? That whole episode of Knicksdom seems like such a sick, fading hallucination way back out of the rear view mirror now...

[Smiles happily that there's not one 'I hate the Melo trade' thread anywhere near the first page of UK]
Wow, never realized Spree's number was handed out so blithely. It is for shame.

I still think buying a Smith jersey is going to turn out to be only a slightly worse investment than my three Marbles jerseys...

Ask NOT what the price of the jersey is, ask... "did we win yesterday?"
