Allanfan20 - You need to put your listening ears on.

Van Gundy NEVER said that Amar'e and Carmelo cannot work. What he said was there was more to creating a TEAM than simply adding talent. Van Gundy also went on to add detail to his point by stating that coaches could not be afraid to be honest with their best players. He continued by mandating players willingness to do "the dirty work" (rebounding, going after loose balls) ... but he NEVER said it could not work.

JVG mentioned all the criteria in the context of team building.

glad to see you're on board for JR. i think he'd be a great addition. we could really use a shooter/scorer like him.

i hope lin can be consistent enough to play maybe 30 minutes a game. i think we still need another PG on the roster if baron isn't going to be able to play. mike james? to back up the talented mr lin, of course.
