Had hoped to see us close games out like this earlier, but I am glad it's finally happening. Hope this can be sustained.

I like Walker's hustle...

NJ keeps racking up the team fouls.. lol

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

So, assuming we hold on to win, this game guarantees the Knicks will finish .500 or higher for the first time in 10 years. Last time it happened JVG was the coach and we lost to the Raptors led by Vince Carter and TMac. It's been a long time coming.

We won't have a losing record for the first time in 10 years. It feels weird. Very weird.

I don't think any fan of the team would say they aren't excited about the way Melo is playing or that they don't like Melo. I know for myself it was hard to see 4/5 of the starting line up of this team traded. This year was the first in a decade where the Knicks were exciting again. Trading away three guys 24 or under was hard. Giving up draft picks sucked. I like Melo but this deal still stings.

When I was 17 all I wanted was a Martin guitar. This is a pretty high end guitar which I had to save for many months to be able to afford. I finally saved enough money after sacriicing good times with my friends I could've otherwise had. When I had enough in the bank, I went to withdraw the money. As soon as that hard earned cash that was a long time in the making hit my hands, I immidiately felt uneasy about parting with it. I drove to the music shop, strummed the guitar a bit, and decided there was no way I could hand over that amount of money. It seemed like way too much. So, I went home and played the old guitar I learned on. After a few days, I finally decided I had to go through with it....the Martin just sounded too sweet and gave me too much joy.

This is like the Melo trade. The Knicks toiled for so long and we, the fans, were so miserable and we finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel with all this youth and cap space that we had saved for throughout so many sacrificed seasons. We knew that we couldn't make a bad decision with all we worked for. And then the Melo trade happened and everything we were working for was finally realized, for better or worse.

We gave up a lot, but we got a lot. Melo and STAT will bring us much joy in my opinion. Just like my Martin still brings me joy to this day, 12 years later.

Indeed it is. 41 is a nice number. Looking a bit swaggish but still it was just the Nyets Without Stat though. Well done.
