If Knicks win this game it would be a great send-off for the upcoming west coast trip.

Hey TMS is it still a long season with Chandler as a #2 option?

not sure why you'd assume that.

we're the 2nd fastest paced team in the nba and the 5th best in offensive efficiency.

breen is right that that move is a clear difference in the mayor's game this year vs. the past...

Fans just still don't fully believe. Every day I read stuff like this and it's almost like they haven't watched this team all year. We've been doing this to teams all year. Great teams and bad teams, we score. That's how you get to be the #1 scoring team in the league.

What is giving us a chance is that the team is keeping the middle open and not allowing the D to be able to give help. The spread floor is giving the Spurs problems. SO long as we keep taking it to the hole and taking good shots.

Fatigue could be a factor. I hope that MDA sees that Felton is running down. This pace has been hectic. Teams like the Spurs can outlast teams that aren't as deep and that's the only thing i'd fear. We just have to watch that and keep everyone fresh.

yeah, i can see why some will have a difficult time accepting this shift, but as long as this remains...which at this point is getting harder to say won't...views will change...

however, i do think "old school" concepts of "defense" based in limited stats (i.e. points per game vs. seeing it through a lens of pace/efficiency) or using small samples that fit these beliefes + a fanbase of 90s knick fans/traditional folks who see bad boys kill the guy hockey style as "good" makes the current style harder to swallow...

interestingly, why are the spurs, who were of this mold...not this way anymore?

hmmm....

I certainly believe and I know the Knicks are the #1 scoring team in the NBA but not at almost 60% shooting, that's what I'm speaking of.

fair point. i read "pace" and ability to score so that was where my question was coming from, however, the way high scoring teams go...one game you shoot 60% another 40.

we are showing the ability to shoot 60% in a given game right now, ESPECIALLY against another high paced/offensive minded team, like the spurs.

remember golden state games...we seem to always score a lot
