Hornets on the road is a respectable win, even without West. You can see that it effected the Hornets, but if we didn't play hard they'd be more than happy to take the win at home. All road wins are good wins.

Nice win. I know they didn't have West but that's still a real nice road W. We're playing great -- doesn't mean we can't tweak it to make it better. Cut Mason Jr. and bring in one more big that can bang & play a little. Send Moz to the D-league for development..Really not a whole lot to complain about right now though..Nice job tonight...Can't have a letdown these next 3 games -- @ TOR Sun, Minny at home on mon, then TOR at the Garden on Weds..3 winnable games..I want all 3.

I actually think Moz was caught not thinking about who was around him. He had to realize that Mbenga was a shotblocker, but he probably didn't know. The other mistake he made was going up soft and also not using the pump fake to get the defenders in the air. He wasn't wide open on those rolls to the basket. He'll learn from this and hopefully he'll realize that he needs to go hard at the basket or pump fake to draw the foul. Just don't put up weak attempts inside.

mda when asked about why williams tonight...

smiled while saying, "that's a good question."

basically said that williams has played well since the beginning and felt this was a good time to give him a shot.

Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

It's looking pretty good. As close to a Nash/Amar'e combo as we could expect. It should be enough for this team to be a tough playoff team.

I was pleased with Williams. He fit in real good and I like his size. He's basically what Mike wanted Bender to be. I much prefer him over Walker and Mason.

The other impressive thing was getting it done without Turiaf. I still think we miss him, but they covered for his absence very well tonight.

Good win! The team needs to capitalize on the next 4 games. They play @Toronto, Minnesota, Toronto again, and @Washington. The schedule gets much tougher after that. Going into the harder part of the schedule with a 15-9 record would be beyond awesome.

so, does this mean we're good?

Shawne Williams stroke is pure

I believe I'm privileged for having watched Amar'e Stoudemire

I have a mancrush on Ray Felton

You've got a keen eye for detail Nix, but I just don't see it bro..He looks lost at sea to me out there..Talking to my friend Big Al during the game and he feels the same way you do, that's he's basically giving us solid minutes. He's encouraged and he sees major promise..I see the upside too, I just don't think he's ready yet for NBA basketball...Like I said earlier in the thread, maybe some day (he's got some ability to work with & build on) but he's just not helping us the way he should...Earlier in the season I was angry at Ray, TD and co. for not getting him the ball when he was open and I said so --- now, it seems like once or twice a game he's getting the ball in good position and he's just not cashing in AT ALL..Different situation now..Couple that with some soft defense -- I just think he needs the NBDL to help him improve his overall game..Hey maybe he comes back an improved player..That would be the goal..In the meantime get me another dirty-work big to compliment STAT. I can think of several real good options..

let's not throw walker under the bus with one good game from shawne williams. granted he played really well but bill has been pretty decent off the bench this year in limited minutes, though he did play pretty awful today with the time he was on the court.

Amar'e Stoudemire is the meanest and best big man in the East hands down.

And signing Raymond Felton is starting to feel like we almost signed a near MAX FA. He's a warrior and completely outplayed Chris Paul in his own building!!

I agree with this... but when Williams hits the back of the net it is pretty

Baby steps Bro. Today, he caught both passes. By next week, a fake and a dunk!
