Yeah, that was rough. Felton should not have driven so early.

Yep, sometimes he goes

Oh well. Game over. Stoudemire turned it over. Sigh.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

How can you draw up a play in that situation that has your PF getting the ball at the top of the 3 pt circle??? Did it take the entire timeout for D'Antoni to figure that out?
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

The Knicks need to come up with some plays for the end of the game. They are good enough to be in the game and competitive but they can't come out of time outs and have two possessions like they just had.

No, he used the entire offseason for that one, too.

Ok, so Knicks down 4 with 1.7 seconds left, and Portland has the ball. Hopefully, we can hit a 6 pointer after these two free throws.

That's all I ask...Field a team that plays defense and instantly the games become watchable...

Bad loss. These guys play like a team and have great effort but the coaching needs to be better down the stretch.

That block on Felton took the air out. Felton was having a good game up till then. Needs to be a better decision maker in crunch time. Not all his fault though.

Stoudemire's handle is atrocious. I've seen way too many plays where he has been fed the ball on an isolation play and we haven't even been able to get a shot attempt off because he loses the handle.

Either learn how to pass out of the double-team or don't start with the ball at the top of the key!!! Christ, so this is Amare without Nash.

So, tonight's lesson: If the other team plays zone against us, we're basically ****ed on offense. Not a good sign.

Oh... and we can't hit free throws to save our lives. I think even I shoot at a higher percentage than that.

I wonder if Dolan knows Aldridge was a part of the Eddy Curry trade.

You can't kill Mike about the last plays when you're PG isn't able to run the most basic of NBA plays. Also there were so many opportunities to get better shots and this team still doesn't have anyone other than Amar'e that we can depend on for end of game shots. This is where it hurts not to have Gallo. We can't spread the floor enough without him and teams are just taking Amar'e away. You can't run PnR without a spread floor, well you can, but you need a PG that is good in traffic. Felton can get his own but he doesn't have the court vision to find guys when he drives. At least not from what i've seen.

This team is so close to being REALLY good. I can't get too crazy, cuz they're playing very good BB. They should've won this game, but just don't have it all together yet. Give it some time guys cuz I didn't even think we'd be this good this early. Especially if you told me Gallo would be in a funk.

Especially if your coach doesn't make adjustments.

Amare is just wasted talent until our PGs can learn how to actually pick and roll. We are not able to take advantage of his strength.

DUDE! Amar'e has GREAT handle for his size. He's not supposed to be to there creating his own shot play after play. If we had better PG play, not great, just freakin decent PnR, which is highschool level stuff, we'd see how great Amar'e really is. Plus we don't have our shooting yet. This means teams can cheat and pack it in on Amar'e.

Amar'e keep getting the ball with no advantage and then has to go against the whole team just to get his points. That's not how you use a player like him. Our PnR is all screwed up and it's our PG's fault.
