Just curious as to what everyone else thinks- are the Twolves actually looking good this year or are we just playing badly?

No weak side help for the Moz. Sweet back door feed for Fields!

Combination. They are hitting a lot of three's that we are not contesting. We are sloppy and shooting poorly.

Moz: 8 pts, 5 fouls, 3 TO, 2 reb, 2 blocks in 12 minutes

That's a crazy stat line

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

The Moz fouled out. He needs to work on that b/c we are going to need his energy.

They beat the Lakers by 20.

They're definitely playing smarter today. It looks like the team isn't used to the pace that coach wants to play.

nice dish by routins earlier...and yes, our perimeter d is not good. mozgov is challenging shots inside, but who's bounding?

if randolph and mozgov are challenging shots at the same time it leaves us open to offensive boards.

the sky is falling!!! ahhhhhhh...

but hey, donnie...make a melo deal now.

Not nearly enough boards for a seven footer, but I guess it was only 12 minutes. Still he needs to work on crashing the boards and fouling less often. I agree with Pres that AR and Moz need to work together when they are sharing the paint. They don't both need to block every shot, since securing the board is just as important, especially when the shot is only contested and not actually blocked.

But I could see Moz+AR being a sweet front line for us off the bench, or whenever they are on the court together.

not all 7 footers are rebounder, and this dude is not a rebounder. i don't see him being a 10+ guy, but defensively he will cause a lot of problems for teams, even with the fouls. that's why we have he and turiaf. plus on offense you can see he will be effective in the pick and roll and using his soft touch and athleticism.

there is room for improvement in many areas, but again, i doubt he becomes a big time rebounder.

Hard to do when he fouls out in 14min. But he is promising. Much to learn though.

No doubt we could really benefit from having a scorer like Melo, who can get his own shots and get a rally going any time we need. Teams like Minny would get eaten alive if we had Melo on the floor.

But I don't want to gut the core to get him. Free agency or reasonable trade, otherwise let him go elsewhere.

The +/- is interesting. Minny's starters are all in negative numbers, but Tolliver, Webster and Telfair have huge + numbers.

Basically Mason and Walker had the worst stretches for the Knicks.

This game isn't really a true indicator with the weird amount of minutes Amare and Gallo played.

How many minutes did AR play and how many rebounds did he get?
