Now none of the young talent we have is overpriced or on long contracts, so that's GREAT!!! As I said a while back DW had the option of going young and he did. We turned the roster over with good young talent which is better than expensive mediocre vets right?

There's no pleasing people. We're under the cap so how is that leading to 10 more yrs of losing? We can still look down the road at FA's and trades. Meanwhile we develop these young players and try to make the playoffs.

I think Walsh hit a homerun with the Lee sign and trade. I kept waiting to hear that NJ was going to offer Lee a better contract. I think some GMs would trade Lee for a healthy Randolph straight up. Azubuike is the kind of player that excels with D'Antoni and the Knicks desperately need Turiafs size, and shot blocking.

It's funny but this is the team Zeke always said he wanted! Long, athletic and young! I was disappointed for about 15 minutes and then I was reading to see if the Lee/AR trade went thru. So many of us had wanted to get this kid and we have him plus other solid role players! OK no infant finals team but a good young roster to build from.

I agree. The 2008 draft had so much talent and the Knicks have two lottery picks from that draft. That is huge. Walsh has really rebounded well while keeping the team in a good position for next summer.
