In case you didn't notice Doc Rivers hated the trade. Celtics players hated the trade. Celtics fans hated the trade.

Interesting. I have a lot of friends in Boston and they all loved the trade. Where did Rivers imply he hated the trade?

oohah

Players weren't exactly jumping for joy in the locker room on Thursday upon hearing that the team had acquired Nate Robinson from the Knicks.

Boston send New York a package that included guard Eddie House.

"I would've been fine if we hadn't ... we'll see whether that's the right decision or not," said coach Doc Rivers. "I like this team, I've said it over and over again. I didn't think we needed to make changes."

Rajon Rondo at first declined to discuss the trade, then opened up a bit.

"I don't know, I don't know," said Rondo. "I hope it's for the best. Eddie House can drop 20, 30 [points off the bench] too. But [the players] don't make decision, we just play the game."

Ray Allen didn't feel a trade was necessary.

"I didn't think we were bad," said Allen. "We were good."

Even Lakers coach Phil Jackson got in on the act, questioning Danny Ainge's logic.

"I really don't know about that," he said. "I have a great respect for House's game. I don't know what you can improve on that credible shooting skill that he has. House really has a strike factor in his game that can really disturb a team."

When Robinson takes over a game, we usually win. Show me proof. Empty posts are just as bad as Mr. Lee's empty stats.

And before you tell me you wont look, then don't make these posts before backing up your claims.

Nate rarely "took over" games because most of the time he was out of control and/or acting like a clown and unable to focus.

I see you just became a Knicks fan this season...welcome!

Last season he had about 10-12 games where he took over and simply won the game.

I'm not going to research for you. If you watched the games you would know that already. You're obviously a 12 year old new jack. Stop being lazy.

So, you said that Robinson's impact was to make the Knicks losers when he played a lot...but you don't agree about Lee? Stop running and answer young man!

oohah

I'm not King1. I don't like David Lee.

As for everything else, I'm not going to go back and forth with someone more immature than a 12 year old that you call me. All I asked was for you to provide proof. You just repeated the claims you said and then insinuated that I don't watch games because I wanted written proof. Nice job. Go try and bait someone else into these childish games. I'm not here for that. Enjoy the game, buddy'ol pal and when you decide to back up your posts and have a discussion like a normal person then I'll gladly talk to you,

Damn, when did Phil become the league trade critic. The man has an opinion on everybody's else moves and feels the need to air it.

SO you think that all the guys that House played with for 2-3 years to say -- F*** House, we hate him! How often does that happen? You expected Rivers to disrespect him? He has class unlike D'antoni. DO you really think that Ainge made that trade with no input from Rivers?

And lastly what does Phil Jackson have to do with it? Jackson is always playing mind games, you think he will say:: "Yes the Celtics got better!"

Again, I actually know plenty of people in Boston, I have family from Boston and they are all happy to replace House with Robinson.

The reason is that House does exactly one thing: Shoot from long range. And when the long range shot is off he might as well not be on the team.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

You think players would welcome a new teammate by acting like they didn't want him if he was as good as you make him out to be? Upset they traded for him? And when did Jackson's opinion and his 10 coaching rings not matter? When does the head coach of the team's opinion on not wanting to make changes, not wanting to take on Nate for House, not matter?

You'd think we just traded Michael Jordan and Tim Duncan in their primes by some of the posts on this forum over Nate and Jordan Hill getting dumped.

LOL...Classic. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say its probably more important that the Celtics lockerroom is happy with the trade as opposed to your friends and family in Boston.

interesting. Offensively he is still very raw compared to Pau but defensively and strength wise he is equal to him. Once he gets use to the game and has more experience I wouldn't be surprise. Maybe TMS was right about that trade.

First of all Dud, you're the guy who goes after everybody on the board who dares to claim that the Knicks are not on the way to a championship or that some of these moves were bad.

I am not claiming that you are a Lee fan. I simply completely destroyed your "point" about how Robinson playing a lot shows his impact in Wins and Losses. I guess I have to explain it to you: Every player on the team has the same record, so to pin it on Robinson is silly.

Lastly I did not "insinuate" that you did not watch the games, I said it right out. Because if you did watch the games last season then you would know that when Robinson did his thing he won a lot of games for the Knicks.

All you have to do is Google up last season's stats and you would see. I have learned that I don't need to exert myself because I will never convince you with your lazy logic.

Sorry.
