this is why there needs to be a lockout. lol @ the rules for trading nate + house.

Let's start over. Source says Nate-to-Celtics is "close" but no specifics yet can be confirmed. Everyone gets a free punch to my #P90X abs.

btw, if a 3rd team is involved, then they will be getting the draft pick for their troubles.

believe the knicks have a $1.6M trade exception to use in this trade, if necessary.

That guy is a freakin genius. This is gonna be real interesting. Both teams gotta give more players.

Maybe Jefferies and Nate for expirings and Hughes whatever whatever whatever for TMac?

Knicks should be able to get a nice high character guy to play in training camp.

Well played. D'ivatoni strikes again!

yeah, what's the point in getting a draft pick for 5'7" player you couldn't re-sign anyway?

also, what's the knicks record in games nate plays over 18 minutes in this season? 6-22? pretty sure they are 13-11 when he plays fewer than 18 minutes or is benched or injured. just sayin'. he hurts the team and often breaks the flow of the offense with his bad shots. when those bad shots are going in, he's a special player. when they aren't he's a minus. we were better this year when hughes and duhon were the primary guards.

What does his height have to do with anything? If you micro-analyze him, one can create a hole field of flaws. Like Phar said, in a lot of ways I feel he was scapegoated and made to look like a bad guy to distract from a lousy season.

But you guys win, Nate's gone. Excuses are gunna start to run out for D'ivatoni and Walsh soon, because they are getting everything they want.

let's draft someone from lebron's posse. that would increase his likeliness of coming, right? RIGHT?

well, they could use it in as an asset in the mcgrady trade, maybe.

also, i thought you could wait to officially sign your draft pick until after the free agency period - they don't have a cap hold until you sign them. like, rubio is not on the t'wolves cap - the t'wolves just own his rights. i BELIEVE that the first rounder would not show up on the cap until he was signed.

Toasting and posting says we are getting Eddie House and Veal. That doesn't come close to matching contract wise. what is really going down here?

Depends on where the pick is and how much salary the Knicks need. If its a late pick it will cost the Knicks ~500K.

for starters - his height has to do with the fact that he is a liability on defense. he's a flawed player. yes, he was our flawed player, but i think he was overrated by a lot while here.

it's not his fault we sucked, but he wasn't part of the solution either.
