to me Harrington make boneheaded plays all the time and doesn't always have his head in the game - something you can also say about Chandler. IMO, both guys screwed up.

Chandler seems to be getting stronger, his ankle not the hindrance it was earlier this year.
The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

in fairness, what was wilson supposed to do there?

i mean harrington was WIDE open, and wilson is not a great ball handler...he was pretty deep in the backcourt.

maybe i'm wrong.

Harrington was not open. He wasn't even in shooting position. He was going to get into shooting position.

To answer your question, what Chandler was supposed to do was hold the ball and get fouled or dribble at the basket, not throw the ball at the shoulder of a guy who isn't even looking.

If you throw the ball to a guy who isn't looking, it is your error.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Harrington was getting into position. Harrington did not make the mistake. Chandler simply threw the ball to a guy who wasn't looking because Chandler was afraid to have the ball in his hands and he panicked.

Harrington makes plenty of boneheaded plays, but that one is on Chandler.

i really like gallo, but i noticed something i think is something to consider, in the hornets game @ home...

he seems to get very upset with himself...a la paul o'neil, which can work but sometimes, like say if you are on the line late, and mess up...can take you out of your game.

o'neil was also clutch, and when gallo is in a game you can see he seems to have "it" when the clock is running.

yet, at the new orleans game @ home, i saw him get really pissed after he missed a few shots in a row, and he slammed his fist against the backboard padding.

i read he has that from when he was younger, and maybe something to work on...

good to have high expectations of yourself, but also not to get too carried away when you need composure, like on the ft line.

Those Knickerbockers sure made it tough on themselves in the end. Still, a victory is a victory. Good overall ball game.

oohah, the replay shows al was "open"...maybe not ready for the pass, but the ball did bounce off of him and he had space.

he just didn't look like he was expecting it.

Kindly watch the replay again. Harrington was 10 feet behind the 3 point line when Chandler threw the ball off of his shoulder! How in the world does that equate to "open"?

You're only "open" when you are set to shoot. If you are not set to shoot or looking to shoot, you are not "open".

The replay shows that Harrington was going to a spot on the floor where he was probably going to set himself up to shoot.

Seriously, isn't Harrington a notorious black hole? If he was supposed to get the ball I think he would have been salivating for it.

Come on now. It was a stupid pass. This isn't like a point guard not looking for the ball on an inbounds play.

Great win. I just caught up to the end of the game on DVR. I have to catch up on some of the week games too.
