We lost two games on the road to two teams with good records at home. Don't give up hope.
Charlotte and Chicago both are defensive teams and slowed the pace down, cut off the pick and roll and dared us to shoot ourselves to a win.

We shot 9 for 34 from 3 after the 1st quarter.

Another game where we had our foot on their necks and we let them up. Why couldn't Landry get on the floor and Douglas get more time?

horrible loss..

chandler needs to get more shots.. harrington less..

Gallo and harrington shot a lot of threes.. difference is.. gallo got hot and was making after a cold first half.... Al kept missing and forcing shots after a hot first half..... key is.. when gallo got hot, why was he taken out of the game? then brought back in to to try and save them?

lee looked tired..

jeffries was OK


why no hill tonight? dantoni has to stretch rotation with guys tired and a game tomorrow, plus hughes out... geez... perfect game for hill..

maybe this will help clear things up.. I got it from the realgm wire tap.. I like dantoni, but this is foolishness!!!

Al Harrington, Larry Hughes and David Lee are all in the last year of their respective contracts with the Knicks and may not be back with the team next season. But Mike D'Antoni believes he owes it to those players, the organization and the fans to make a serious push for the playoff spot.

"I just don't know how losing helps anybody anywhere at any time," he said.

If rookie Jordan Hill continues to sit, D'Antoni won't rule out sending him to the D-League for a few weeks of live competition.

I honestly think that MDA and Donnie are trying to pump Eddy and Fishlips trade value. Similar to what they did with ZBo and Jamal. Remember, when ZBo was here, No D Lee was not getting much burn.

i think so too... which is why i called BS on Walsh & MDA when they came out w/those comments... i mean come on, when u have ur #8 pick getting DNP's every night u know something's up... i can't wait til the trade deadline is past so we can finally see the kid get a chance to show what he can do... he's gonna be good, i have no doubt... if i'm wrong i'll be the 1st one to admit it.

It was a combination of sharing the ball, going to the hoop, selective 3 point shots and ft's that got them the 4 wins, hopefully they'll get back to that. D'Toni needs to coach to the strength of these guys and make them play as they did during the streak.

it's just a question of making shots... they were settling for way too many 3's in this game but if they just make 2 or 3 of the ones they missed, they win this game... Al started out red hot & then went ice cold for the rest of the game... Gallo started out ice cold then started to knock down his shots later... Bulls were defending the P&R great & closed off all the cutting lanes, so they took us out of our game & we ended up taking it to the perimeter on almost every possession.

This loss is on the coach. Yes, the players missed shots but at some point you have to call TO and tell them to STOP SHOOTING 3's! It is exactly how they played the first month of the season. This was the game to let Hill and TD get some real burn. Also, Nate should have played and got a chance to get back into the rotation.

Agree totally. This short rotation of 6 players is just plain stupid. 4 of the starters had over 40 min playing time with Duhon getting 44+min. Didn't they learn anything from last year about burning out the players? The guys were tired in the 4th qtr for the last 2 games and we lost both in the 4th qtr. Last night outscored by 12 pts in the 4th Q; previous game (against Charlotte) by 15 pts.

Another reason to have a rotation of 8 (or even 9) is that if the players are missing their shots, or are just plain too tired to be effective, you have sub(s) to put in who can get hot and rejuvenate the team. If the first guy off the bench doesn't work out, put in the 2nd.
