He is. That bum. If I'm him, 5 years ago, I take the 500k per year for 50 years. He obviously hates playing basketball. Or doing anything, for that matter. He just couldn't be happy with that. He had to go for the cash-in, the fame and fortune. The glitz and glamor. Ah, vain Eddy, what a mess you are! I pray for your salvation!

I could think of lots of things to describe Eddy, but I never thought he comes off as "vain"

In US he end up being a millioner. No doubt the humanity is making a progress.

Curry could be bought out. It ends not with a bang, but with a whimper.

How else would you describe someone that squandered a gazillion dollars? That money didn't go into the library he's building or the school he's establishing. It went, I assume, into 5000$ bottles of booze and things of that nature.

You dont really believe I was serious about that statement and the Eddy situation?

Maybe I should have added a big SARCASM in front of it

No, I didn't believe, really. I just, I don't know. I had the urge to say "OBM once said...".

And OBM is totally right about it!

Eddy that xxx piece of XXX is so goddamn blessed with his natural abilitys that even after years of him beeing what he is, we still hoped that he at least could held on to the very last bit of what his talent is indicating...

It's a shame that Eddy let his weight balloon like it did, cuz during that time it really damaged his Knees. It's impossible to know what's going on inside from looking at him and but obviously he was slimmer, but already in trouble cuz his knees were breaking down. That's what being overweight can do to you. I had hopes that he could stay healthy and eventually be worked into the rotation, but ...

The thing is he really needed to come into camp in great shape and ready to practice in order for the him and his teammates to find a comfort level together. There was a window of hope and it closed real quick! No help this year and no chance of moving him anytime soon. Just a sorry situation all the way around.

SAN ANTONIO - Eddy Curry's umpteenth comeback attempt was halted before he even took the court last night, as the injury-plagued 7-footer pulled out before the game against the Spurs because of a sore left knee. After the morning shootaround, Curry said he had soreness and wasn't sure he could play.

Still waiting!

did u hear Malik's comments last night in the post game after Curry was interviewed? his booth partner asked him if he had a take on Eddy's comments & Malik shook his head & said "yeah, I have a take, but not one i'd want to say on this telecast."... Curry must be pissing off every single member of that team by now w/his constant injuries, excuses, laziness & lack of motivation to earn the contract he's being paid... what a sorry ass pathetic excuse for a basketball player... can't believe i ever gave this guy the benefit of the doubt

I can't believe the league doesn't address this kind of BS.

At some point, you just play through pain. I find it hard to believe this guy's knee hurts so bad that he cannot get out there. I have played with sprained ankles and broken bones, but it did not matter to me because i loved playing. If I could move, I was playing. This dude has no heart. It is sad. Top-15 talent with D-league heart.

he doesn't even have D-League heart, at least those guys play because they love the game & just want a shot to make their dreams realized... Curry has had everything handed to him on a silver platter, given every chance in the world to succeed, & he's shat it down the toilet along w/all the Big Macs & Double Whoppers with Cheese.

i'm not one to wish any harm on someone i've never met, but i seriously think Eddy Curry needs a nice ass whuppin'... maybe that'll wake his ass up for once & make him realize what a Fuckup he's become.

Yeah, duke is a lost cause.

I try to restrain myself when it comes to questioning injuries, cause its easy for me to sit behind a keyboard and pop, but the evidence is mounting that Curry has no desire to play ball and is literally quitting on the contract.

I may regret this, but given the Eddy situation there needs to be a loosening of this iron-clad guarantee contract stuff in the next barganing agreement. Especially if you're going to have these deals count against the cap. Sure, some of the onus falls on the Knicks, and specifically Isiah, but what do you do when a cat falls and refuses to get up?

But in the meantime, doesnt Donnie have some "connections" with some homeboys in little Italy, with Mozzerella on their breath? Cant he get them to make a visit to the Garden locker room to give a little "motivation" to Curry. C'mon, Walsh they callin you the Don. Get active on El Gordo.
