Speaking of reggae, I also never loved reggae rock music. For example, I can't stand Sublime. Yuck.

sublime never went out and called themselves reggae, they just were influenced by it as they were by many other types of music. google 'sublime rewind' to hear it in action. but they were labled as reggae by a clueless popular fan base that lacks the ability to look beyond the surface of anything.

Hey I can take some R&B. Not a ton, but I was definitely a Boyz II Men fan and also an All 4 One fan back in the day. I don't listen to them so much now but there are occasions.

Sublime is a fusion of ska and punk. They're not reggae.

Check out "40 oz to freedom". As with most bands, the best stuff is the early stuff.

Played basketball last night, hate it when you play with a bunch of guys you never played ball with before and the ball don't get passed to you. It finally does and you make a jumper, and the next time down court they don't even look your way. SMD.

I dont care what they call themselves the fact remains that people interpret their music as being reggae and substitute their music for real reggae music. Thats the point.
