i don't care what he said, nor should anybody else. my point is that going all in on a player in this draft is probably not a wise decision.

Marbury has never used the word us and meant it. Jennings I believe was sincere when he said Rubio would get his feathers plucked if he stepped in the gym with he and those other point guards

& i wouldn't be surprised if he were right... him speaking the truth has nothing to do w/this... openly disrespecting another player when you haven't proven anything yourself i have a problem with, i don't care how sincere he was in his comments.

Not quite sure if this is the guy you can go to bat for about being a team guy when he is trying to get out of his team's contract just to hike it over to the NBA after a bad season. There are no saints or quote on quote good guys in this story.

guy asked a question about had he faced him and what kind of numbers they had when they played. He answered it.

lets be real here:

Jennings didn't go to Europe to bring some euro squad a title. He went cuz he didn't pass the SAT's so he couldn't get into Arizona. Derrick Rose apparently cheated on his and if you ever here an interview no one would mistake him for even your local weatherman (definitely no Al Roker with the mic).

Overall, it speaks nothing about his basketball IQ nor his willingness to get better. The guy his Italian team had training them over there can and has spoke for Jennings

Sorry, I don't see it like such. He was asked a question and gave an honest answer. No different than two co-workers indicating why they deserve the position over each other. Anybody that goes into an interview and gives the speech that Paladin suggested is a super nice guy but just admitted that he isn't the guy who is qualified for or deserves that promotion. There is a time for tact than there is a time to be assertive. Since I didn't hear about any death or illness in Rubio's family recently, I don't have a problem with it.

I wouldn't be surprise if Jennings didn't say something that many GMs and agents were already thinking about and I really could see how many GMs would be impressed with it. Hey at least he didn't call himself a winner as a reason to justify his actions.

dude, u realize there's a huge difference between giving an honest answer to GM's in a private interview & airing out your feelings this way during a press conference, don't u? the fact that he believes he's better than Rubio is not the problem here, it's the fact that he completely disregarded the fact that he was airing these comments out to the public & openly disrespecting Rubio's game that is the problem here... did u hear Johnny Flynn making those comments about Rubio? i'm sure he feels the same way that Jennings does... no, he was too busy cracking up because he couldn't believe Jennings was actually dissing Rubio like that to the press & probably agreed with him to boot, but he chose to focus all his comments on himself & on how he could help other teams, not on downgrading anyone else's game... if u saw the clip u see Jennings also giving a little friendly dig at Flynn getting outplayed by him also... seems like Jennings likes to talk a lotta smack... nothing really wrong w/that so much as it is choosing when & how u make ur comments sometimes... that rings true in any situation in life u come across, business or otherwise.
