I was at the game. There isn't much to say except that it was a titanic defensive struggle all night long.

And the Knicks City Dancers did a great job.

And I got a Knicks keychain.

how come more people are not laughing at Al. Or are we all in shock still?

I know I was wiping water from my eyes from laughter.

Same team, same dumbass T, same loss.

Can't make this up.

LOL, Nate warned Harrington not to slap the backboard before the game. Nice.

I noticed that MSG didn't show a lot of clips of the play.

Yeah in slow motion it looks like he twirls off the rim after the hang. At that point, the officials were going to give him a T and of course they don't take them back. There was someone under him so that's why they then try to tell him it was a slap. Oh well, it was a feel good T by him, 38 points.

I have not idea about the twirling or if anyone was under him. Al pulled himself up more than his momentum took him, that's why IMHO they gave him a T.

Actually nice work to get higher pick.
Smart and dramatic at the same time.
I like the effort to lose it. It was covered up nicely too.
Nobody will tell that we are tanking for a couple of weeks already. It looks so natural.

Another nice showing by the 08 draft class. How many years will the Knicks have to be reminded of the 08 mistakeon a nightly basis?

I wouldn't be surprised if ESPN, NBA TV and TNT pounces on this. Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith may have a field day on this tomorrow night.

This is almost officially over. Tragic number is down to 6.

Al just helped the Knicks out for the draft. How can you laugh at him for that.

Pretty much in shock but this go around I really don't think he was trying to show anyone up. I think the Tech was borderline. Given it's our home court I'd call it unwarranted. If Wade did that it'd be a #1 Sportscenter play and the refs would have put him on the line for a FT to boot.

It is what it is...win or loss tonight the playoffs are out of reach. So it's no big deal.

I don't get how you can root against the team based on nothing but hate for someone.

You root against the team just for the fun of it so what are you talking about? You hate every single player. You hate the coach. You hate the GM. You hate the owner. You hate everyone inbetween all of them. You hate every announcer. You even hate most of the team's fans. You probably even hate the KCD.

So, really, LOL, what point are you trying to make? When do you hang up your hat and move on? Be it to another NBA team, or just become a college ball junkie, or ditch the sport of basketball altogether?

It's actually of curiosity of why you continue like this year after year day after day...

Damn.. Cos, you are the man.

After watching it..

I've said it before and I'll say it again. When people interview Al, he sounds like a pretty smart dude. As soon as Al gets on the court, he loses ALL of his intelligence. I mean ALL of it.

He was actually thinking of himself when making the quote. Seems more like self-reflection and a sense guilt on his part than criticism of another.

Perhaps he is crying out for help when making such comments...

... or it was just an example of some provocative sarcasm/irony on the part of someone who is bored.

This game reminded me of that ad where they say "send it to overtime"--someone snapped a light in Al's face forcing him to stay on the rim one extra second.

Let me say this--don't call a technical with 25 seconds left for hanging on the rim--that's horrible. People don't pay good money to see a game to have it decided by a marginal infraction at best.

And I'm not blaming Al Harrington--if it werent for Al we wouldve lost by 15.

Thank you, Rick Brunson.
