That's not a valid comparison. For starters, the Celtics already had a perennial All-Star in place in Paul Pierce. Then, they made trades for a Hall of Famer and another perennial All-Star. So, you're telling me, the Knicks get a great pick they'll be able to turn that and everything on their roster into two perennial All-Stars and a first ballot Hall of Famer? Really?
