Why is Chandler shooting so quickly and from long range when he just got off the bench?
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Gallinari has to pick up his jockstrap that Miller faked him out of.

I saw Toby Knight make Larry Bird fall down on a fake when Bird was a rookie. It happens to rookies.

No, he plain sucks. He sucks for not playing. He sucks because we can assume his coach said he was 100%. He sucks because he is playing. Boos now are stupid. They deserved it when they were letting this game get away by allowing layup after layup but at the end they lost the game to the better team.

The point wasn't that Gallinari is Bird, it's that there is no predictive value offered by a rookie getting beaten on D in his first few games.

I can imagine if Gallo came in, missed all his shots and was beat on every possession. You'd probably call for his assassination.

Good comeback by Gallo. He shows some signs of life tonight. He will learn about the NBA in due time. He's got a long way to go but this is the first mini step.
