How many times have we seen a good player just come out and tank one? It doesn't mean anything, cuz anyone can have a bad showing. I just look forward to him playing a lot and learning and getting better.

I'm more concerned with guys like Collins and Balk. These guys have had time to really improve their weaknesses and it's gonna be an important SL for them.

Lebron struggled in Summer League.

i think you can tell who has game and who doesn't. does it look like he is just nervous or does it look like he's a serious project?

Nerves seem to be a big part, at least towards his offensive struggles. Shooting form looks golden, but he just can't get his shot to fall. Trying to force his shot too often. His on court awareness seems to be good, made some solid passes.
So far he's been slow to cover his man on defense.

Hopefully he'll calm down and let the game come to him in the second half.

i'm not watching this game but remember the guy is 19 years old and first game on foreign soil.

how are his movements? are they like hedo's in terms of fluidity? or are they mechanical?

Remember he said he loves pressure, yea he also makes love to pressure playing in Milan remember.

You guys cannot sit here and tell me you see anything promising from the gall other than getting rid of the ball.

What happen to his offensive prowess, what happen to his experience of playing against grown men in europe?

You're a summer league whore.

LOL. He's trying to fill the shoes of TrueBlue and isles.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

They just showed some highlights on ball movement and it showed Gallo finding the open man. He also does not force passes which I thought was good. He did get pancaked by Tractor Traylor but who hasn't?

To me Danilo seems like he understands the game and the game plan. He was one of the few attempting to constantly move the ball

right now, does he look more like nocioni in his movements or hedo?

I can't say because I have not watched either player very much.

Both. He was real nervous in the first couple of minutes. A foul 5 secs into the game. His defense is extremely poor due to anticipation and his agility. He looks like he has a willing to play defense but so far has not translated. To be fair he played the 4 and 5 spots. He is extemely weak at those spots. His ball handling improved a little as the game went on. I notice he did not force the game to come to him so that is a good sign. He recognizes open teammates. He seemed upbeat. I don't know his position right now but he is a project.

this is why i question how good euro ball is. gallinari looked overwhelmed out there but jj hickson who plays the same position and is younger with only 1 year of ncaa experience looked like a 3 year nba player out there. there is a DEFINITIE speed strength difference and to guage that difference has to be incredibly hard. he was gobbled up be players with real 4 bodies and when he used the dribble it was nt as effective against american players--he looked slow
perhaps a year in the d league will help him get used to the speed because this guy is not ready for nba games

Why don't we let him finish out the summer league before we designate him for D League.

i think there's a much bigger adjustment for bigger euro players than for euro guards.

Danilo doesn't look like he understands the American Game.

Thank you for being honest.

I don't know what these guys are watching.

Everybody is pulling for the guy and trying to find anything to say positive. I'm just gonna keep it real.

Many here claimed that the euro league was better than the NCAA, well he looks as if he's afraid and lost on the court.

Robertson looks very good too me.

Mardy collins is playing better , but I don't trust his decsion making at pg at all . The only thing collins has going for him is his size at 6"5.

THE GALL looks just like a highschool kid going up playing against kids in college.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

His movements remind me of Hedo at the beginning of his career.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I thought ball handling was some thing we didn't have to worry about with Gallinari. Chandler showing out on offense and defense.

Listen do you really think anybody when being asked about the gall is gonna say he isn't ready ? No

They have to hype him up, Dantoni is friends with his father too.

I have seen enough , I have an eye for talent and I saw last yr the chandler could have been oour starting sf if he got the playing time that Isiah didn't give him.

DANILO GALLANARI is slow, he shows no handle and he can't jump compared to the NBA guys he will go up against.

This is a major dissapointment to me, he was picked at #6 overall.

He looks like he's yrs away from getting on the court and contributing.

Wow its a good thing you werent a talent evaluator for the Mavericks when they were scouting Dirk Nowitzki.

Nice hustle by Gallinari getting back down the court. He needs to look to his offense now but nice to see that his anticipation has improved since the 1st quarter.

Good hustle play by Gallo. He is showing good lateral movement in defense and has blocked 1 shot already. In regards with Hickson abusing Gallo, Hickson is abusing The Mayor and Balkman as well.

This team is a piece of crap. Gallinari doesn't even touch the ball. I was supporting Roberson before but it turns out he's a chucking piece of crap.
