Seems like a viable question considering the team apparently has better ball movement tonight than previously. I would have bet money the movement would have been better without MArbury and Curry too, btw.


Its probably both, but I'll say it again- balance. Marbury and Craw have never quite complemented each other the way Isiah envisioned. Craw as the sole playmaker has been terrific tonight. Shooting percentage not great, but a lot of trips to the line and some very good passes. Zach has been more efficient tonight as well...and 4 assists!

Plus it allowed two guys with more defensive intensity to enter the lineup- Jones and Lee. They have the right complementary skills to help out Zach and Craw.

Exactly, we have more impact players that way. Now get rid of jeffries and use Chandler and balkman more. Can't be worse.

Yea use Balkman instead of that skell Jefferies. Chandler I didn't watch any summer league or preseason games so I have no idea what the guy's game looks like but I just know its better then Jefferies.

Good question. All I can say is I have seen the Nets beat this Knicks team when Kidd and Vince being out and Jefferson going off on the Knicks.

We were told that Jeffries was working on his game like a mad man this summer. I had no idea they were talking about fishing instead of basketball.

Good question. All I can say is I have seen the Nets beat this Knicks team when Kidd and Vince being out and Jefferson going off on the Knicks.

I agree with VDesai/raven, but I think I agree with this sentiment more. The Knicks have two guys that require the ball in the post to be effective and Isiah asks Crawford to chuck when he plays with Marbury.

THe bottom line is the team is built around one dimensional scorers when those two guys are also in the lineup. THis is definitely a less talented strating lineup, but it is significantly more balanced.

I prefer tonight's lineup for sure.... so I hope Marbury and Curry get back so this team loses ten in a row and secures a top 3 pick, Iisah is fired and James Dolan gets a public spanking from his daddy on a Cablevision Prime Time Event.
