Poor decision from Crawford there. THat's the kind of thing that drives me crazy. He plays well, and then it gets to his head. STAY UNDER CONTROL Jamal. We may also need a player who can command respect to keep that kind of play under wraps, it can't just be the coach.

This is where a vet like allan houston if healthy would be a good role model for shot selection.

LB was good for craw too.

You do have to wonder what we would be like with Allan, if he could play. Good point about Brown, who I turned sour on by the end. Jamal seemed to buy in to "his way" at the end of the season where he thrived at the point.

Poor transition defense...Zach is struggling and the offense is stagnant again.

I don't understand why you guys nitpick about details.

Zach this, Curry that, Marbury didn't do this, our FG% is this.

GUYS: This team is a terribly mismanaged roster, and a franchise that is ruled by a megalomaniac who would rather go down in flames than follow reasonable measures of ownership.

In lay terms - we're not a playoff team. Fuck dissecting every little thing, we're a bad team, why should anyone expect anything else?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Good job of Steph going through the pick there. Caused a problem for the T-Wolves.

See that's the good Q there, on D, but then we are not cleaning up on the boards.

There's Q leaving Gomes open for a three.

The starting lineup's energy to start each half is just not there. Now we bring the bench guys in but the other team has the momentum.

we can't play all these guys, this is why the game is so close.

We're such a bad defensive team and yet we do have a couple defensive stalwarts on the bench Jones and Balkman.

Because I contend it might be more complex than this. You can see evidence of positives with certain lineups and players. To paraphrase tomverve on the ex-NY Times forum, One could argue that our best guard, big man and swingman all come off the bench. This means that we MIGHT not be a bad team as you suggest, but don't utilize the best players and lineups enough.

Anyway, it's called talking basketball. If you don't want to engage, no one is forcing you to do so.

Based on hype, Telfair has to be one of the biggest busts in the NBA.

He should be playing in Europe, not starting in the NBA.

And what do you know...the bench puts us back in the lead...

Are we still talking about "petty band-aids" and really being a "bad" team or are we talking about adjustments that Isiah should make to the rotation?

Yea man. Lets just put Balkman on the first team and move Crawford to the 2nd team! Balkman works better with Zach and Eddy while Crawford and Nate work well with Lee.

Then your contention is just agreeing with what I said -- this is a POORLY mismanaged roster.

And don't overrated our bench either. We have no one in the way of an Al Jefferson, who can pass, rebound, score, and block a few shots.

And I am talking basketball, just like you are. You just don't agree with my realistic outlook that despite positives here and there, overall we're a lukewarm team full of selfish egos.

Btw, disagree about Telfair. Guy's lightning quick and poised so far.
