I thought Marbury played some pretty darn good defense, showed some good moves to the hoop and a few nice dishes. Were there flaws? Sure, but I don't know if he was harmful to the team tonight.

Ira, maybe Q's offense wasn't there, but his defense was intense as all hell. I had no complaints about him. He competes his ars off.

Thanks to all for the updates, I wasn't able to watch the game, I'm out in the poconos and league pass doesn't broadcast any of the preseason games.

What's the rationale behind putting Malik back into the game?

You think Marbury has played good offensively since the 1rst qrt? Are you checking him out now? He's been awful the second half he was 3-6fg after the first I believe since then he's gone 2-7fg. He's played 33min and only has 3ast with 4TO's. Why is it with Marbury whatever he does good last for what seems to be an infinity?

Great effort from the team overall. They need to play this way every game. Even if they would have lost this game it would have been ok because the effort was there. That's all you can ask as a fan.

Dude, that post is about as polished of a post as any politician would come up with. It sounds like something that was prepared by the white house. I can only imagine what your post would have been had this been a loss. Did you cheer at any point during the game ?

Yep I gave props to Zach, Nate, and Chandler don't know how you missed it. I attacked Curry and Marbury and go figure those are the two players I dislike the most.

I still think Curry will play a big role on this team, Marbury is more than likely on his way out, so you may get half of your wish. Nowadays in the NBa when your a max player playing below your contract, it's only a matter of time before your traded.

The thing that I am happy to hear, is that even with the flaws of those guys, we still had enough to win. It proves that blowout games mean nothing. When they were blown out in the first game, every one jumped on them like the roof was collapsing. Good to see that they took the blow out serious enough to come out and get a w.

what this shows is that they took this game seriously. and it was at home so they didn't want the crowd to get on them. they had alot of motivating factors and they delivered on them. this was a high quality performance and reason to be optimistic.

the question is can they sustain this over a long period of time. that's been a big question about this team the past few years. will it change this season...at least enough to get to 41 wins and make the playoffs? time will reveal all.
