This was a good move. Isiah loved this guy and had him pegged early on as a pure PG. It was surprising that they didn't come away with him on draft night when people were selling picks, but its good he got him now.

Unfortunately his initials are JJ which seems to spell doom for the Knicks.

JJ3 is to got to europe and do Milos!

Good pickup with an eye toward the future. Why, these 2nd tier schools produce some great players and they just need seasoning at the higher level. Few pure points can come out of college and be ready to run a team at the NBA level.

Be good to get him on the roster if Isiah can swing a 3 for one.

This is a move that few teams can afford to make. This is a "yankees" kind of move to pay up for player and see if he developes.

There was also Zaza Pachulia who I really wanted to sign, and while I was concerned we would overpay Stephen Hunter, even he would've been a better choice.
