So far for me:

1. Nate has to go, theres no room on this team for another guard who is just looking to chuck the ball

2. Chandler is very athetlic and can run all over the court, his skill level is extremely raw though - just like Balkman.

3. I wish we could have had the chance to draft Jeff Green. The guy was outstanding last year for Georgetown and his game is seemingly going to transfer very well into the NBA, he can shoot, rebound, handle the ball, defend. The Sonics are set up very nicely with him and Durant.

Thanks Phil. I appreciate the info. I'm a Syracuse guy as well and watched plenty of Nichols over the past four years. He can definitely get on fire at times. He also wants the ball late in the game. He trusts his stroke. People have to remember that at Syracuse last year he was double teamed and schemed against defensively all year. He still had a great season finishing with almost 20 pts a game. He's also 6'8". The kid can shoot and he should stick. He too has to improve his defense but I think he has the body and the ability.

He doesn't look that raw to me. The guy knocks down his jumpers, has been playing very good man to man defense as well as help defense.

Actually, they do, if you are having this problem, there is a book I can recommend for you. I had back trouble for 18 years and now I haven't for 6.

Actually Chandler looks about 3 times more smooth than what I remember out of him at DePaul. That's the one striking thing about him tonight.

After watching since the last break...I like Chandler already. Very active, on both ends...Nate looks like he's trying to be more of a passer, seems a bit more mature, making some nice plays, but still a bit sloppy...but you see the desire to improve and some change. Balkman nice on D (he shut down Durant a few plays back), and looking like a leader...Nichols also looking good. Morris big on the boards...

Running on the Sonics out of the building now...

just summer leauge, but hey...
