Sorry guys but you are going to have to count me out. I got a job as a camp counselor in Ossinning starting July 9th. I have to stay there for 6 weeks.. But I would rather get money than scrub some old timers. Maybe next yr.

a couple or three things:

1) We don't have to wait til 6pm as it should be cool and lovely - a high of 76
2) Thunderstorms are possible, so are these courts covered by the highway?
3) Should we schedule a rain date?

Yeah a rain date is cool.

Still doesn't mean we can't tap the bottle and twist the cap on some 40oz on the 14th. Rain or shine we can still sip on some swine.

There's a spot in Astoria that is completely covered by the Triboro Bridge where I go to ball out in the rain. Granted it's in Queens and tougher to get to. If you guys want we can always call a relocation the day before. And the park is easily accessible by the N and W train.

By the way, is 6pm a little late as a start time? Doesn't it start getting dark around 8pm? I mean, if we meet at 6pm, we probably won't ball until we got our ish together, right? Pick teams. Say hello. Warm up. Stretch. Shoot around. I'd def wanna get more than an hour or two of ballin' in.

i think we're gonna bump up the time to 430 so we can start playing at 5pm. hopefully those that work can join in as soon as they can. but if we start playing at 5, then we have a good 3 hours of daylight.

again, the reason we can't do it earlier is b/c the park may have some bball tournaments going on during the day (and to accomodate those that work).

i will send out an email next week so we can exchange cell #'s to make sure everyone gets there in one piece and doesn't end up in some crack house with pookie and z-bo.

I been playing some ball, holmes. I'm ready to play... Whatever team drafts me is gonna be picking up an impact guy. Who's the GM for the Haters? Is it DJ?
