I'd trade anyone on our team for Bron but Lee.

yeah, 1st round. but i asked about someone doing it this deep in the playoffs.

and let's hope nance and price don't come through that door - those guys couldn't beat the pistons either :)

i'll take those cavs over these.

bron is tame on defense.

comparing MJ's 60 to this?

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I think what a lot of fans are sleeping on is the fact Lebron has come close to sweeping this team. They've had 2 chances to win the first 2 gms with the ball in his hands. If they make it to the Finals they will beat SA.

As we watch Lebron take the next step of his career we realize that he is only 23 and has a lot of years left. He simply took over 3 straight conference final games, once again at age 23. Watching this just shows us that we cannot sit back and say it's acceptable for a 7 foot 300 lb. center to average 7 rebounds a game. Lebron is only going to get a looooooooooot better. We cannot continue to settle if we want to ever even consider getting to that level. We must force our players to up their play.
I just hope that people will like me

Let's not forget the fact we're bypassing his Bulls tenure. All you can do is laugh at HOMERS AND APOLOGISTS.

Jesus stop licking Bron's balls.

I've been a general watcher of basketball (and player) for atleast 10-15 years.

Yes, not that long, but Kobe is and has always been better than Bron.

Dwayne Wade is better than Bron (pre injury).

I could go on and on.

Bron's a top 5-7 player in the league. And the rest of that Cavs team sucks.

Gilbert Arenas could do exactly what Bron does, minus the big dunks and flashy ball handling.

Even Jamal Crawford will throw up a game like this (IN REGULATION no less), once or twice a year (in a big game).

Bron stepped up, had a great game.

But I'm not floored by it. I've seen too many good performances (even from the 80's on tape).

Just happens that most fans on this site, and others, are 15 y/o's that don't know who Clyde Drexler or Dominique Wilkins were...

wow.

Still, it's a little hard to tell on some of those plays if it's LeBron being great or the Pistons just breaking down on D. The way they couldn't close the lane or get the ball out of his hands was pretty awful. I know James was hitting ridiculous shots all night but that last play was just pathetic defense by the Pistons. If he could put up half of that kind of explosive offense against San Antonio I'd be twice as impressed.

PS Detroit was the 6th best defensive team this season, not 2nd. Not that you would know judging by tonight.

Dwayne isn't in LeBrons league. Give LeBron a Shaquille o'Neal and then come back to this discussion.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Wade is definitely in LeBron's league. Let's not underestimate how good Wade is on the basis of an injury wrecked season, or overestimate how good LeBron is on the basis of a couple of games. LeBron will have to do this sort of thing more consistently before you can say he's clearly better than Wade.

Lebron is the most physically gifted player I have ever seen. 6'9, 240, can move and handle like a guard finish way above the rim like a 7 footer.....Unreal.

BTW...how did Curry sneak into this thread?

DWade sans Shaq? Why do we think he'll be that great?

What makes you think Wade wouldn't be great? It's not like he's a spot up shooter depending on Shaq to get him looks. If anything, Wade has been the Batman to Shaq's Robin in Miami rather than vice versa. Kobe's play has been comparable to Wade's and he didn't lose his greatness when Shaq left. I frankly don't see any reason why you would think that Wade would look substantially worse without Shaq.
