the point is that this team can win with Marbury if we have skilled players surrounding him.

if you've been reading my posts lately i've been stressing the point that Marbury needs a superstar to play with if you want him to succeed here... you say this team will win once we add back our missing parts, but we weren't winning games when they were healthy anyway.

& again, i'm not expecting Marbury to play like Kidd... i know he's not a pass first PG... that's the entire point i'm trying to make here... i think we need a pass first PG who will orchestrate the offense & get the other guys involved if we want to improve as a unit... & i disagree w/you completely... if Marbury continues to play the way he has this season (which i've given him props for all year long from an individual perspective), we won't see anything but another mediocre team w/no future potential of winning a championship... i want to see a team building towards a championship, i don't follow this team to watch the Stephon Marbury show.

And I never really said we lost any one game because of Marbury. Ive been saying we don't win because he is a loser, two slightly different points. THe first being Micro, which is why certine guys want to argue a game and bring up stats. Stats with Marbury is pointless, that's why I haven't been talking about single games where we then try to find role players to blame for why Marburys stats usually fall short in the win department.
Marco, is what I'll been talking about and looking at this entire year. As in how come in so many games does his stats fall short??? How come over the course of the season the knicks are still playing losing basket ball before the injuries??? Wanna blame many role players, over 4 teams and 10 years as to why Marbury is about 100+ games under 500 for his career???? Why he is losing many games his teams should win. Can't explain that away with,"30 points, 7 rebounds, 6asissts". It's because he is a loser.


But looking at this last game: No Crawford, No Q, No Francis, Lee Hurt, Marbury Hurt, Frye still played soft and JJ2 still stunk................. but the lost still pretty much looked like the way the season went with all these guys playing.

So the question is does anybody on this team make the other players better??? Maybe all those guys should be reevaluated and cut or traded accordingly???

I didn't; I think Marbury's playing hard and trying to do everything he can to win.

Not the whole thread, I'm going in a new direction...........
But looking at this last game: No Crawford, No Q, No Francis, Lee Hurt, Marbury Hurt, Frye still played soft and JJ2 still stunk................. but the lost still pretty much looked like the way the season went with all these guys playing.

Maybe Lee and Balkman do with their hustle but I don't think anyone else does.

They start a lineup of Felton, Carroll, Wallace, Oakfor, Brezec.
Morrison,& May to go along with their core.
Gerald Wallace and Brevin Knight as expiring/Trading peices.
They also have 27 million dollars in salary and a top 5 pick in this up coming Draft. Battled injuries all season and are being lead by second year players or third year players.

Why are they one game behind the knicks this season?????

PortlandTrailBlazers: 31-44
They start a team of Jack, Roy, Udoka, Aldrigde, Maglorie.
Webster, Outlaw, Rodriguez, & Przybilla to go along with their core.
Fed Jones as an expiring/Trading peice.
They will also have a top 10 pick in this years draft. They have battled injuries all season and are being lead by rookies or second year players in the western confernce.

Why are they tied with the knicks?????

Philadelphia 76ers: 30-45
They start a lineup of Ollie, Miller, Iguodala, Smith, Dalembert.
Carney, Kover, Hunter, Williams to go along with thier core.
Ollie as an expiring/Trading peice.
They will get 3 picks in the current draft, one being top 10. They have battled Major loses this year and are being lead by an average point guard or a third year Guard.

Why are they a game behind the knicks?????

Altanta Hawks: 28-47
They start a lineup of Claxton, Johnson, Smith, M Williams, Pachulia.
S Williams, Childress, & Stoudimare to go along with their core.
Lue, Wright & A johnson as expirings/Trading peices.
They also have 48 million in salary and the Raptors pick, they traded this years pick for JoeJohnson but get it back if it is top 3. They have battled major injuries to the point that you can honestly say NO ONE HAS LED THE HAWKS. All while the teams owners are fight with eachother.

Why are they 3 games behind the knicks????


Excuses a side, injuries, suspenisons, what happen last year................ This is all WHO EVER is leading the knicks amounts to the same level as what a couple of teams with rooies and second year players get????

So my question is...................... WHO THE HELL IS THE LEADER OF THIS TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's why I want DudBury gone soooo bad. We'll never know what this team has as they will probably perform the same with him as without him!!!!!

Is it more true then ever this guy does nothing for his teams???? He takes away whatever stats he puts up with his Loser mentality.
Marburys leadership skills are on par with second year combo guards and rookie point guards.
