in the end, the Francis trade had more to do with Brown and Isiah's power struggle than it did with anything remotely about helping the team. I think the only reason either guy signed up for the trade is he thought it would get the other guy fired.

Amen brother. Again too many people are trying to figure out who's fault it was. But the issue is that there was a power struggle to begin with. That's why these moves were made. These GM/Coach tug of wars have been going on for too long. What's more important to me as a Knick fan is why do they keep happening?

You can't win when every year your coach/GM are fighting for their jobs.
