Who made the deal?

Seriously Isles I know we have our back and forth but You really can't tell me LB wasn't behind the deal to get the delusional kid out of town...Dolan said LB begged him for that deal...If you coach that you owe 50 mil to said he needs this to get him over the top how on earth are you blaming Isiah for this...How???

Who is the GM? Isiah

Who is the ONLY person that can actually make trades? Isiah

Anyone can suggest a trade. Dolan approves trades. But only Isiah decides who stays and who goes.

Very simple concept, you'd think people would be able to grasp it.

You are so wrong on this one....Obviously Isiah didn't want the trade if Dolan had to be begged for the deal to go through...If Isiah wanted the trade he would have asked Dolan himself...The fact that Larry had to beg meant that the GM wasn't going along with the trade...I know you hate Isiah bro, but come on....

"Obviously Isiah didn't want the trade", but he went ahead and made it anyway!?!?!

Amazing. Truly amazing the lengths that some people will go to avoid giving any blame to Isiah while continuing to bash Larry every chance they get.

Amazing. Truly amazing the lengths that some people will go to give blame to Isiah. I mean, the coach and owner have no say? right? I must have been halucinating when LB came out after the trade and was like, I wanted this deal. Amazing.

one thing tho, ariza signed for 3 years $8 mil and butler signed for 3 years $7 mil - we could've signed BOTH instead of jeffries. so ariza could've been brought back but isiah felt jeffries was the better player.

I'd rather of Jeffries and Replace Ariza and Butler with Balkman and Cato.

To be honest.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

Ariza should be a Bull. Isiah refused to include Ariza in the Curry trade and thats where the swap option came from. If Isiah included Ariza there would not be a swap option. I dont like Larry Brown but he was right. Ariza was delusional

You keep repeating that but I have never heard such a story or even media coverage of the possibility. Some reporters thought Lee might be the player that could be included in order to have the picks be protected but not Ariza. Why would the Bulls give up two potential lottery picks for some guy drafted in the middle of the 2nd round? That makes no sense.

Just because you dont read Bulls newspapers like I do doesnt mean it isnt true. The trade was at an impass. Pax wanted Ariza first than D Lee. Isiah kept saying no to both. So some accountant guy who does salary cap work for the Bulls then suggested the swap as an alternative. The 2006 pick was always part of the trade. I never mentioned that pick. Go ask some Bulls fans instead of just saying you never read it so it cant be true
I didn't say it can't be true. I just said I never heard it. Maybe you can provide the links to the "Bulls newspapers"

Email Sam Smith at the tribune and ask him. Or just go to a bulls board and ask them
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg
