Or maybe it is because too many of us are cuaght up in disliking individuals associated with the team and forgeting that we root for the TEAM!!!

and thats the sad truth.

How is this the sad truth when so many of the people you guys accuse of rooting against the team all got together to cheer for the team last Wednesday and for the Atlanta game -- while, in the meantime, none of the so called true fans (except for Killa) showed up. Killa's the only one of you cats that repped.

So the test of fanhood is whether you showed up at the garden to meet with UK guys? That's a pretty well thought out statement as usual.

i think when you started this by questioning why so many people don't post after a win or how you would miss them when the knicks start winning, it was taken as a question of their "fanhood". so if you can say something like that and think it's legitimate, then you shouldn't be surprised at what evil and fish are saying about buying tickets and going to the game.

this whole "who's a real fan business" is ridiculous.

Wait so which is it? Are "True" Knicks fans the ones who:

a) Come onto UK right after wins and post, no matter what else is going on in their lives.

or

b) Go to games.

I'm a little confused as to what the criteria is. For today at least.

Well, it's not just this board. On MSG, it was the "Apologists", "Realists" and the "Dooms Day Sayers" way back when I posted there.

I pretty much think it will always be the same, but regardless, it is pretty dumb. Fun if you're just fooling around but then you get in a regular arguement and it gets thrown around and that's just frustrating for people who just want to have a regular conversation.

This doesn't include a COUPLE of the manipulative posters BTW who's names I shall not mention.

What Evil is saying about going to the garden has abut the same relevance if he had brought up Britney and K-Fed. So he can make that comment all he wants. It is meaningless.

Last night he said I disappear after a loss. ???? I just told him straight up he was making things up, and he let it go. It is very easy to see that I show up after a win or loss. just look back.

If he wants to go down that road, I can go there with him.

Questioning their fanhood? I was just wondering aloud why the board is so dead after the best win of the season, but it is jumping with negative threads after a loss, whether close or blowout. Observing stuff. Care to disprove that?

Just observing stuff Isles. Jumping with negative threads after a loss, crickets chirping after we roast the Heat.

Curious to say the least.

Just curious if Friday night has anything to do with it?

It's not just observing when you're calling people out claiming that you'll never see them again here if the Knicks do well.

Oh, and to do it after one good game, on a Friday night nonetheless, is a little obnoxious. Wouldn't you agree?

Claiming? I'm gonna miss those guys...whoever they are...that's all I am saying!

Absolutely. That's why I fit right in around here. Example: 10 Obnoxious threads immediately after every loss.

Man, my comment just took on a life of it's own. I never said that going to games or the get-together was the test of who's a real fan. I just said it was interesting to see that the "haters" showed up and were supporting the team.

Oohah, ask Killa if we were sad to see the team win. And ask Killa if we were all overjoyed to see them lose versus Atlanta.

I didn't mean to say that anyone is not a "real" fan. In fact, I think it's one of the stupidest things to say to someone who is a regular on this website. If you are a regular here, you are a Knicks fan.

Ok so we're all fans. I still don't like the fact that so many of us "fans" have been so willing to kick this team when it's down and just because some of us supported the team and the BELIEF that this can in fact be a good team, the others want to make it seem like we're the unreasonable ones. No i'd say that we just happened to have a bit more insight and better observation of the situation :) If the team does go on to have a good season then our faith in the team would've been proved correct. No one is stopping those who have repeatedly bashed Isiah and the team from now getting behind the team, but you want us to go soft on you now after ALL THE JOKES and NASTY comments you guys have been making all summer and fall. Man for get that. You had your say and now we get to have ours. But now let's just move on.

I only hope that the team has a great season so we can all come together in support of this team and have something to really root for. How great would it be to have a return to winning ways? That's all I really care about and i'm sure ALL OF US feel the same way.

Hey Nix, I agree absolutely 100% with the part I bolded. Thats why we're all here! No matter who is right and who is wrong all we want is to see our Knicks win some games and win some games in the playoffs. If the Knicks win games without doing it the way that I thought was the best way to do it, thats great I don't care! Thats the reasons there are messageboards so we can all voice our opinions and let them be known but when you get down to it we're all here becuase we love the Knicks.

Nah a typical response by hoohah would be answering your every sentence by quoting it, while displaying a uniquely poor display of reading comprehension.

I love it! Simrud getting on my reading comprehension? You can barely write in this language my friend, so don't even try it. When it is time to compare Russian or whatever language you grew up speaking I am pretty sure you can't write in that either.

And your typical response is to curse someone or call them an "idiot" or a ni**er like you did last week.

Being stuck in mediocrity does piss me off.

We do half decent this year, tumbe and rumble our way to like 33 wins and IT stays on. That is the worst case scenario.

Too bad you are too dumb to understand it.

Oh and one more thing, if you could actually read, you would know I was talking about a Chris Rock standup routine. I don't even know if Enyspree is black. The conversation just fit the standup.

There you go now you have enough lines to respond to, considering you have no life, I prolly just made your Saturday night.
