Geeze, so it's only the Knicks who look flat? Game 3 is right man, the whole league is rusty. It usually takes a month or so to see teams come together, with a few exceptions which are usually those who have the same coach, players and system.
They have 14 points after one quarter. I'm not prepared to attribute this to a league wide phenomenon. The NBA couldn't sustain revenues if this kind of crap was league wide at the start over every season.

knicks are luck this is a weekend game, who's fans are oodles of kids who cheer everything. if this was a tuesday nite game (the hardest core fans, IMO) it would be a very hostile crowd by now.

Dude. I'm an optimist and think we have a chance to win 40 or so this year. But I also believe in crowd feedback when there's not enough energy being shown.
