The great LB saw potential in Craw to be a PG.

he ended the season playing him majority off the ball and for 2-3 weeks worth a work has fans posting Craw was the best player on the team last season.

At 1 point in time he may have been a point guard. On this level he has shown he is 1000 x's more comfortable and coachable at the 2.

The knicks have Marbury, Nate and Crawford

exactly why we needed him.

Steph doesn't like running plays

Craw and Nate are definitely finishers

The great LB saw potential in Craw to be a PG. and I agree. Crawford can be a better player than Marcus. Will he is still the question.

I like how someone posted a picture of Marcus Williams wearing the baggiest basketball uni of all time as evidence that he's not fat... :rolls eyes:

Well, here's a picture of him relaxing at home. More accurate?

https:// It's not so hard.

This thread is beginning to sound like a line from an old SNL skit from the '70s:

"Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead ... "

Marcus Williams is still a Net.

Balkman was a bad value pick even though the kid impresses me. I wish Isiah would have waited to draft him until 29 if only to quell the controversy.

But it's over!

the bottom line---

No matter how you shave it--marcus Williams is/will be has already proven to be a much better basketball player than this guy can ever dream of. I dont care who we had at what position--i mean the nets have jason kidd.

I dont know what happened in the 2nd half last night--i read ths posts, but i already have a good idea of what this player is---hes a trevor ariza type player who gets opportunitci points and plays with energy. The point I made on the thread is admunson is a BETTER player than balkman proven in college he s bigger more athletc and wasnt drafted. we couldve had ANY player like this at 29--we had two picks. its like the curry trade--people are trying to justify the means by saying I dont care we have curry i dont care where we have balkman or who we bypassed to get balkman even though we had another 1. Its BAD business. Ive seen this guy enough to know he cant shoot, hes smallish and Ive seen very litle on the D. When the big show comes and he actually does have to go against the ron artests of the world like he did when i watched---then we will see ceiling or lack there of.

marcus Williams skill arent going away and hes a 6-3 215 pd PG. That makes him big at that position big enough to move a lot of these smaller PGs around at will

who cares how good balkman can be. the person you should be comparing marcus williams to is mardy collins. we could have drafed both balkman and marcus by drafting marcus at 20 and balkman at 29. the person we drafted instead of williams is collins NOT blakman. and I agree with you that Isiah messed up by drafting based on need rather than the best player avialable (which is how he usually drafts). but I think your underrating balkman.

Marcus Game two:

16pts 4-12fg, 9ast, 3TOs

Nets lose to a Miami Heat squad that once again has almost no NBA talent on it. Some guy named Earl Barron had 33pts and 15rebs for the Heat.

Earl Barron scored 33 pts and had 15 rbs in a summer league game.....Why isn't this guy on the Knicks! Isiah is an idiot

I like Mardy.

I think most here like Mardy. No politics involved he should start at point with Steph at 2 from day 1. funny thing about some of the rationales being put forth is out of 1 side of the face there was no room for a pg w/ the group we got and then the Harvey Dent posters speak and are elated about what Collins brings to the 1 position.

we need some perimeter defense. I liked the idea of Lowry. I liked Farmar to a lesser extent. Collins makes sense. To me, with our perimeter defense the way it is, Marcus made no sense unless there was some sort of defensive beast coming at SG.

Yeah, I heard Boone got destroyed by some nobody. Like 30plus points and 15 rebounds, go hit the showers even the gatorade boy won't look you in the face, type numbers.

to be fair to Marcus, I've heard that Snap Hunter is considered one of the best defensive guards in the NBDL. okay, that's not really true.

stats don't matter in summer league - it just gives you a feel for how the team is playing. but I will say again that the level of competition in vegas anihilates the level of competition in Orlando.

?? You think collins should start from day 1?? Come on. Even if it was a good pick or not , this guy is NO way ready to start. What ever you are smoking give me some.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

i agree. that's why i'm not too concerned about some of his struggles in SL now. how cool would it be to see him and nate our starting backcourt in a few years, though?

How cool? Why is that cool? That makes me want to cry!
What's so great about Mardy? And Nate should never be more than a 6th man.
