And Amare averaged 37 pts against Duncan in the conference finals so please don't make stupid assements that he doesn't have an array of ways to score the basketball, a hook a nice medium range jumper and beating someone off the dribble down the floor or with a spin move, is more than nearly every big man his size, Duncan, Garnett and Dirk are the only players at the position that have offensive skills that are ahead of the guy
I assume this is addressed to me. All I have to say is that most of the "array of ways" moves you described have been made up out of your mind. My favorite one is his beating his man off the dribble. That was amusing.
Amare Stoudamire is a power player plain and simple. That is what makes him special, not highly developed skills. He basically has one move and that is to jump over his defensive man and dunk it, lay it in, or shoot a short shot. He has an okay mid-range jumper but it was not consistent when he last played. That is fine though because his athletic ability makes him an offensive monster.
Now lets put your little theory to the test: If Amare Stoudamire cannot jump and explode anymore, who has more moves, he or Maurice Taylor?
I sincereley hope he has developed these moves that you came up with, there were reports that he developed some new things during last summer, but unfortunately he could not play this past season. Maybe you though Boris Diaw was Stoudamire? That must be it!
