Thats after he won the NBA championship. His stock was kind of high at that time. If they made that poll today Id bet it would be different. Not that im dissagreeing with you just putting it in perspective.

No, it was 2003, BEFORE coaching the Pistons to two finals and a championship.

If it is I stand corrected.

YES Darko is a better basketball player than Channing ****ing Frye

get over it

he is a better defender, shotblocker, ball-handler, passer, floor runner, rebounder

Frye is a better outside shooter

you like Frye & jizz over the fact his grandpappy was a Tuskegge airmen thats all well and good.

That has nothing to do with basketball skill and what each player can do on the court. When it comes down to it, Darko can do much more on the court than Channing.

Are your for real dude...Darko was traded along with Carlos Aroyo for Calvin Kato and a first round pick....Darko is a better shot blocker but he sucks plain and simple....Earl won't get into the gutter with you but I will...Please...How do you guys want people to take you seriously with crap like that...Amazing...People around the league talk about Frye as a piece needed to aquire Garnett or Artest when he was in play...You are telling me Darko could be a major piece in any of those trades...The crap you guys try to get away with on this board is just amazing...

Do The Math Mck1

(thank you holfresh, but I will attempt to break it down for the statistically impared)

>>Darko is a better defender (arbitrary no), shotblocker (ok), ball-handler (arbitrary no), passer (no), floor runner (floor runner? as in road runer? no), rebounder (no)

Darko 3 Year Veteran

ORL 20.9min .507fg pct .000 3pt .595ft 4.1reb 2.07blk pg 7.6 pts per gm

Frye ROOKIE

NYK 24.2min .477fg pct .333 3pt .825ft 5.8reb .721 blkpg 12.3pts per gm

McK1 - you can always look at production - and not arbitrary and vague bias

you've never seen Darko play have you?

Steph's raw stats say he is better than Nash which you argued on NYT. Even you had to finally turn on the tube.

If Isiah could've traded Frye for KG, Garnett would be a Knick. the only reason Frye is brought up is because what else are the Knicks going to offer...Curry, Mo Taylor?

as Orlando grows, Darko 15pts 8reb 4 assists 2.5-3 blocks 1stl

Otis Smith made a great deal for his ball club

I just love fans like you who are always raging about other team's players...Then call yourselves Knick fans....Can't wait to point out who is better than your guys then claim you are one of the biggest fans out there...

It's not hard when your team is full of horrible players, sans a couple.

Cmon guys don't you know you are supposed to blindly support every player on your team, and just blame it all on the coach no matter what? Thats what being a "true" fan is all about.

>>McK1 - you've never seen Darko play have you?

McK1 - Channings best games were 30 point efforts. More than DOUBLE what Darko posted against the Knicks in bhis best game ever in three years.

simrud - your post had no point whatsoever

Anyway, McK1 - let's put your basketball opinion to a fair and unbaised test. Okay? This is not intended as anything as a barometer of where you stand, so don't get defensive... it's only basketball... right?

Work with me here.

Darko was admittedly an early entry into the league at 19 or so correct? Let's say THIS year is close to his draft class. Note perfect, but close...

Q. If Darko was coming out this year, where would you place him in the 2006 Draft?

Take your time.

Sincerely,

Your friend Mister.Earl

Correction; Darkos career high is 16 @ Atlanta 04/19/05

As a rookie, Channing had 30 points TWICE
