Oh god guys. Why don't you get a room already. I bet you'd fight over who gets to be on top too.

Be careful, apparently you might make Nalod jealous.

First of all, I already do. ;) And second of all, can we say... pwned!
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

11pts, 3 rebs and 0 blocks

I'm sure he'll have much better games but my point all along was that he would have enough games like this and Friday's game that to predict 20/10 is pretty far fetched.

BTW, what's with 2 consecutive games without a block? Curry is like Big Stiff but with a much better offensive game.
11 and 3 in 16 minutes IS good production that isn't spin.

But your point about his foul trouble being a regular occurance is well taken. I just think that as the season progresses, it will be less of a problem, he will be in better shape, and he will be more effective for longer stretches.

It would be a step in the right direction, a real breakout game for Curry.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

It doesn't look like Curry is ever going to average 10 boards a game. I think the 20 part is reasonable though.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

7+ rpg in only 26 mpg for a guy who hasn't played since March seems very good to me actually.

True, but will Curry ever be a 35 mpg guy where he even has a shot at 10 rpg? That's the question.

He had 14 and 11 against the warriors in 25 minutes.

He played well within the offense, we didn't force him to be Pat Ewing, and he had his best overall game yesterday even making 2 assists. I think as he becomes more apart of our offense instead of the focus of it, he will be able to put those numbers easily. But like Isles said, he will have those foul trouble nights tha will hurt his averages. We haven't clicked yet to really be able to gauge what the norm will be for us, but we look better each game.

He's only 22 and is getting back in shape. It looks to me like he's trying hard on both ends of the court and we know he has a gifted physical build. I don't see any reason to say, "he's averaging 7+ in limited minutes but can never average above 9"

It all depends on his stamina. If he can develop the stamina to play enough minutes, he should be able to attain 9 or more. If he can't, he will be doomed to being a 7-8 rpg guy because he doesn't play long enough to get 10. It's not a question of skill as much as it is stamina.

is that special big man that comes around every 15 to 20 years
hilarious...who said that? Your spinning is making me dizzy

I think Isiah had a quote similar to that.

Both LB and IT said that about Curry it was on the press releases when they signed Curry.

A little late to this thread? Like I said, any GM's job has an unwritten "spin" component. I thought Isles meant that a poster here made those claims about Curry. It just doesn't seem surprising or interesting that the GM/Coach would say things to boost their starting center's confidence.

Furthermore, or more importantly is that statement all that laughable. Curry could turn into the next great center if he puts it all together. He could absolutely dominate. We'll see who guys feel about that quote next year, or even mid season.

And I still think that as the season progresses, we will get 20 and 10 from him. ANd it has just begun!!!!!

I want to see continuous improvement from Curry this year but I think *next* year is Curry's make or break year. He'll have a six month offseason of working with Aguire under the supervision of Larry and Isiah. If he comes into training camp out of shape and unable to go to his left on offense, then I'll be very disappointed.
