I never saw Lee until I saw some clips of him tonight. He is a quick jumper, fast, athletic and seems to have good hands. Supposedly the best passing bigman in the NCAA. Maybe the talent judgment of IT strikes again. BTW, it seems that Phx gets our 2nd rounder this year.

Lee was absolutely fantastic in Chicago. This guy is relentless. Personally I feel that Lee was one of the most underrated players in the draft...

If you've been reading my posts, you'll know that David Lee was on of my favorite players at the 30th pick. I read a couple of things that said he measured a little higher than 6'9...with his leaping ability and tenacity I think he can play some quality backup C. A lot of people compare his athelticism to Chris Andersen. The one player I see when I watch him, is Scot Pollard back when he was on Sacramento. If you remember when Pollard played there he was a tenacious rebounder and great energy player off the bench...that is the kind of player that I see Lee as being.
He really is very athletic. I'm over the pic shock.

How can anyone complain about getting a monster athlete at #30 like that? It's not like he was drafte top 5!

The crazy thing about Lee is that he went to Florida as a 2 or 3 then he grew like 6 inches! So he has agility and ball handling skills most bigs do not possess. Great pick.
And the reply is...a post that makes sense (still waiting)

Frye was, too. And probably Robinson based on size.

I feel the exact opposite on Frye. We'll see.

Athletically he's been compared to Chris Andersen. Say what you want about the birdman, but he's a hell of an athlete.

I remembered wrong--he started as a 6'2 point guard in high school before growing to about 6'7 as a college freshman.

I saw Frye a lot and he did everything well. I wanted him at 30 cause I thought he was under the Radar, but he went nuts in the tourney and then blew away Zeke in a workout. Tell me what his weakness is. He'll weigh 260 or 265 by opening day.

Reading about Lee, he sounds like Reezy! Great athlelete!

I see lee as a Sf.

Dijon Thompson, is our pic. I think he's gone, though. Good shooter.

Gee maybe he's still growing and we wind up with a 7' monster with point guards skills and a power forward physique

I will give Isiah the benefit of the doubt with that pick...I sort wanted Blatche, because of the upside...but I see that Zeke is prejudice towards those high school kids..
