With IQ, RJ, Grimes, McBride, I don't know why you would trade for him. And I don't know how you would anyway with his salary.

We have plenty of ppl we could combo with and the main reason is simply just talent upgrade. we get a better creator and scorer at the guard position who would be the best facilitator here.

Talent upgrade at a cost of first round picks and young kids for a guy who doesn't defend much, injury prone, and will cost you $40-45M per who will be 29 in June and can't shoot from distance.

Again, what's the talent that will offset the cost of trading for him?

Its a 1 year rental so the cost would be significantly lower. Beal is a career 37% 3pt shooter. The way I see it is what teams would be willingly to offer the most? Washington probably don't want to pay him a max extension and neither would I or many other teams. I see it as a stop gap option.

How can you put that out and think it's a legit take on what Beal is shooting from downtown? Last 4 years: 35%, 35%, 35%, 30%.

Do you think WAS is going to just GIVE you a discount cause he has a player option? Is that how trades work with that level of player?

Fair. I chalk his 3pt shoot down to shot selection rather than actual accuracy. No one in the league is going to leave him open. And again, for me it comes down to what are other teams going to offer? Is breaking down walls to trade for Beal right now? His value is definitely lower coming off an off season and most teams are going to be skeptical about giving him a 50mm per year extension.

Yeah, the more Beal's usage increases, the worse his three point percentage gets. Probably another clue that he should be third banana on a title team. Wiz haven't had the best luck with FA tho. There's pressure for them to keep him, though I think a lot fans have warmed to the idea of trading him.

Agree 1000% - Caruso is able to impact the game much like D.Green/Rodman using mostly hustle and determination. Doesn't hurt that he can also play but his focus is on being the glue guy instead of trying to average 13 pts a game.

If I’m the Nets, I look into playing home playoff games in NJ

Kyrie can point out how ridiculous the rules are at this point, but do you know what's more ridiculous? Believing the earth is flat because you think you're so much smarter than anyone else, and refusing to take a vaccine in a pandemic because you think it's a conspiracy involving microchips.

Congratulations to LeBron moving to number 2 in the REGULAR SEASON all time scoring list. Just like how the scoring leader is done by average and not total points (Melo owes KD a belt) it's kind of ridiculous that REGULAR SEASON is more important than playoffs combined.

Jordan will always be the number l guy, but this is becoming a Washington/ Lincoln situation. Jordan didn't take off until after Bird and Magic were out of the running. The NBA is a lot better now and LBJ has been the prime driver of it all. There will always be some distaste leftover from 2010 but in my opinion- LeBron is the GOAT.

Yeah, MJ and Lebron, can't argue. But Jordan is still a prick and LaBronna a douchebag.

Embarrassing watching Nash have to lie so blatantly in interviews these days- now he 'doesn't remember' if Simmons had back issues from the start😂

Pretty worrying for Simmons- his back issues started a couple of seasons ago, before the pandemic. Seems like since the playoffs last season, he's done very little working out either, you'd of thought he would have been working out intently to redeem himself once traded, but nope, he's either been too injured, too depressed or just thought he'd relax. Whatever the reason, not good

This is one of the things I wanted to see more from Quick. The balls to look off a Randle ISO and find a more efficient alternative. I love this.

Feel like Quick has had some nice progress this year.

And it's about time someone turned down ISO Randle

As suspected, love how they can just completely change the rules halfway into the season without acknowledging it. Who outside of Trae Young, Harden and CP3 actually want this ****? It’s so tedious to watch.

In todays world they need to be making the live games shorter to watch, not longer. Also, like I’ve said before, I think they should have 40-48min edits of games people can watch the next day- the current full games are too long, and the highlights package/condensed game too short. People just don’t have 1.5-2hrs to spare to watch games

How much do refs make? Whatever it is, maybe pay them more and attract more people to the industry. Then you reward the competent ones with game play salary and bonuses? At some point a billion dollar industry needs to acknowledge their officiating is a serious problem and take steps to improve it
